Story
Hello my name is Pete! They say I am truly mans bet friend. I am quite the gentle giant, with a sweet temperament. In my previous home I lived with two cats, and did well at guarding 8 goats. I spent most of my time outside, and am not really accustomed to living indoors. I would be a great working dog, and would enjoy a home where I had room to run. If you would like to meet me, come in today!

Story
This is Miss Luna! She is on the search for a new home. Her and the dog she's currently living with do not seem to get along anymore. She has a few scrapes from a scuffle with that dog. She's been fine and has lived with other dogs in the past though. We will want to have her meet any potential new siblings, and be fed separately from them. She is great around kids, and loves meeting new people. For being a Great Pyrenees, she's on the smaller side. She's middle age for the breed, so she'd really enjoy a quiet home to retire in. Luna has experience around rabbits and does great! She doesn't have experience with cats and was pretty guarded when she met one. We think a cat-free home would be best for her. Apply to meet her today!

Story
Rocky is a handsome Great Pyrenees with a lifetime of experience as a dedicated livestock guardian. Protective and loyal, Rocky takes his job seriously and is always on alert to ensure the safety of his charges. While he can be reserved with new people, his loyalty shines once he warms up. Due to his protective nature, Rocky needs a home without small children. If you have a farm or ranch and need a steadfast guardian, Rocky is the perfect match. Contact the Gillette Animal Shelter to meet Rocky and give him a chance to continue his important work. For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

Story
Meet Miss Oakley! A big ball of fluff, who I swear has a face. It’s just covered by that beautiful coat of hers! Oakley here is a bit of a funky one. She likes to dance alone a lot, and doesn’t seem to know how to bark. She does however know how to howl, scream, and vocalize her wishes! You’d think she's part Husky with those lungs of hers. Now the only thing off about this gal is she can be a nervous nelly when meeting new people or visiting new environments. She will need some time to adjust, although it usually only takes a couple of minutes and some good tasting treats! We also do recommend some research on the breed as Great Pyrenees tend to have certain instincts of protection. She will also need that big coat of hers kept up with. She absolutely loves being brushed! All in all, Miss Oakley is a joy to hang around with and would love nothing more than a big yard and a fun companion to show off her quirky moves! So if you think this big gal is worth the fluff, come meet Oakley today!
