Story
Meet Finn! Finn is a 4 month old Rottweiler mix, searching for his forever home. Finn is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Finn is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and he is eager to learn new tricks and games. Finn is at the age where training and routine are critical, so he needs the consistency, patience and love of his new guardian to show him the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training. Finn won't be a puppy forever, and as he grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about his breed. Finn is presumed to be a Rottweiler mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test. There is no limit to the activities that Finn can learn to do! Excess weight is not good for any dog, particularly Rottweilers, and exercise can help to keep him fit and healthy. Leadership, puppy socialization, basic training classes, and living in the owner's home are key to raising a well-mannered Rottweiler pup. Rottweilers are 'people dogs' who do not do well isolated from humans and life experiences. So if you're looking for a fun-loving, rambunctious friend to keep you on your toes, Finn is the perfect match! **We are accepting applications, and are looking for a Foster-to-Adopt home while Finn awaits neuter surgery. **If you think Finn could be a good fit for you, please fill out an application below.https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-kamloops/*TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.* Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 20.3 Age: 0yrs 4mths 1wks
