Story
Jimmy is a loving/loyal dog. Originally a rescue, he has come a long way and has proven to be a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion. It takes him sometime to trust someone but once he does he is a big teddy bear. We want him to go to a loving home. He deserves to go to a loving home. Unfortunately, due to changes in our family dynamic, we are no longer able to give Jimmy the attention and exercise he truly deserves. He would do best in a home where he has space to run and play.

Story
Onyx is a 2.5 year old Rottie pup who is a really sweet but shy boy. He loves to play with his rottie foster brother, and have zoomies, He would do great as a single child. Onyx still has a lot of puppy behavior. He is very strong, and needs a strong handler who will not mind occasional pulling on the leash. He is very affectionate and loving. When his foster mom is standing next to him outside and tells him to sit, he immediately does so and then he'll offer his paw if she says "shake". Then if she asks "pets?", he puts his head up against her leg and he gets pets. By then he usually melts to the ground and ends up upside down, seeking belly rubs. He is very smart and sensitive. Positive reinforcement in the form of treats and verbal praise is highly effective to teach him replacement behaviors. A home with a fully fenced yard is mandatory, as well as a parent who has had rottweiler experience. Onnie came from a high kill shelter where he was surrendered by his previous owner. He was very scared when we first got him, but with decompression, he has now settled down. Onyx is currently about 80 lb and growing, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Sweet Onyx is being fostered in Houston, and can be adopted in a radius of 200 miles. To be considered to adopt Onyx, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
