Story
Meet Pico! He's a very energetic, lovable, 4 year old beagle shepherd (we think) mix who is in need of a family who has more time and energy to keep up with him! He has lived in a home with 2 cats (since he was 10 weeks old) and a baby/toddler (since he was 1 year old) - however, he would thrive in a home that has other dog(s) and does not have any kids or cats. Mostly this is because he just always wants to play! He LOVES to be outdoors - hiking, the beach, running/frolicking in open fields - you name it. He is a fantastic hiking buddy, both on and off leash. If off leash, he will lead the pack and always check in with every single hiker in your party before going back to the front. He is vocal and smart, but is very trainable. It just takes a lot of consistency, but he eventually gets there! He's crate trained (overnight) and house trained. As much as he loves water, he isn't a fan of the rain, but looks VERY cute in rain jackets. If you're active and want a companion, Pico is it!
