Ideal Home: Hershey will thrive in a home where he’s the center of attention. He prefers being the only cat in the household so he can soak up all the love and affection. He’s fine with respectful senior dogs, though, as long as they give him space and respect his need for attention. Hershey is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old as of March 2025. He is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, defleaed. He tested negative for FeLV. Hershey is FIV+ FIV was once a terrifying diagnosis, and many shelters used to euthanize cats who tested positive for the virus. However, much new research indicates that cats with FIV can actually live a relatively normal, full life. The general consensus in the animal medical community is that FIV+ and non-FIV cats can live together as long as everyone is spayed or neutered, remains indoors and interacts peacefully. Hey there, I`m K-Dog, the coolest cat in town. Don`t let the name fool you, it`s just a running joke since I was brought to the shelter after a failed career as a feline detective. I was on the tail of the notorious `Red Dot`, but alas, my old age got the best of me. Now, I`m searching for a cozy retirement home, preferably with a memory foam mattress. I`m sweet, friendly, gentle, mellow, and cuddly. I`ve got the purrfect personality, and I promise to be the best companion. So, why not give this old detective a chance at a comfy retirement?

This senior car lost her owner last October. She was a great companion to an elderly woman. The owner had to go into Assisted Living and took this sweet fur baby with her. (the staff loved her). She loves to sit with you, cuddle and spend her retirement years with a loving caring new owner. Please consider loving this fur baby and giving her a new home. 😻 As everyone ages, some issues come up: She does have hyperthyroidism and has an ointment that is applied to the inside of her ear 2x/ day. She will have a 2 month supply with her. This does not affect her daily life. She is still very active.
