Story
Brittany - Female Spayed DOB 3/6/2022 Domestic Short Hair Black/Tan & White Tabby - Meet Brittany! This beautiful tabby girl with the striking green eyes, delicate features and tiny wisps of fur on her ear tips.  She came to us from North Carolina but has called New Hampshire home for a while.  She would be so happy to actually find her FuRRRever home now.  Brittany is an FIP survivor, undergoing weeks of treatment and monitoring and is now among our miracle survivors.  FIP is no longer a death sentence for kitties, and is treatable when caught in its early stages.  "Warioress" is the perfect term for Brittany.  FuRRR has treated a number of cats with success that were diagnosed with FIP. Brittany is the sweetest kitty, she loves butt rubs and then to roll against you and give your head her special "I love you" kitty rub.  She does fine with other kitties, as long as they give her space.  If they don't, they can expect a gentle swat to remind them that she is the Queenbee.  Brittany is playful, she loves her springs and to carry her prize "mouse" around the house.  She will make a great housemate but not a playmate with another cat.  The ideal home would be where she would be an only kitty or with another cat that doesn't need a buddy, no dogs and any children must be older and respectful.  There are several websites to research for more information on FIP and treatments. Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
Baby - Female DOB 2/26/2021 Domestic Short Hair Black   Where are our shy cat lovers? Come meet Baby and Finn! Baby is the epitome of sweetness. She loves nothing more than receiving gentle pets and will even roll around in her bed with delight when she's being showered with attention. While she may be shy initially, her loving nature shines through once she feels comfortable in her surroundings.  This gentle soul would thrive in a calm and peaceful environment without the hustle and bustle of kids or dogs. She's perfectly content to spend her days lounging in a sunny spot by the window, especially if there's a cozy cat tree for her to perch on and watch the world go by. Although Baby may take a little time to settle into her new home, she will need to go home with her kitty friend, Finn. Baby is low maintenance and doesn't require a lot of attention, but she absolutely adores it when she receives it. She's the type of companion who will quietly appreciate your presence and cherish the moments you spend together.   Finn and Baby have become quite bonded and we would love to see them go home together!  The duo will often be seen together laying under an overturned bed cuddled up together. They will groom each other and bask in their newly found friendship! No dogs or kids would be best for them. Baby had a condition called Stomatitis.  Stomatitis can be a very painful condition, resulting from inflammation of the mouth tissue.  The condition required her to have a dental where most of her teeth had to be removed.  This does not prevent her from eating her wet or dry food or treats which she loves. Story
Finn - Male Neutered DOB 5/30/2021 Domestic Short Hair Black/Tan & White Tabby  Finn is a gentle, shy guy searching for a calm, patient forever home. He thrives best in a tranquil environment without children or dogs, but is a great candidate for living with another friendly female kitty companion, his shy girlfriend Baby, who is also residing in our quiet room with Finn.  Finn and Baby didn't know each other when he got surrendered back to us, and became very fond of each other, often seen grooming each other and laying together. Finn loves to spend his time hanging out on the kuranda tower, or snuggling under a warm blanket or cat bed, feeling safe in his cozy spots. With a lot of attention and encouragement at the rescue, he has blossomed into a very affectionate, but shy guy. He responds with soft meows when you lift his bed and talk to him, basking in your affection; it's so endearing! Finn also enjoys coming out from under his overturned kitty bed, rolling over for pets and belly rubs. Adapting to a new home will take Finn and Baby some time, so patience and understanding are key to helping them feel secure and loved. He has ventured out into our bigger main room a few times, so he is getting more brave, but still feels safer retreating into his smaller quiet room. His ideal home would offer quiet surroundings, sunny windows for them to lounge by, and no dogs or children. With love and time, Finn is sure to transform into a devoted and loving companion.  Finn and Baby have become quite bonded and we would love to see them go home together!  The duo will often be seen together laying under an overturned bed cuddled up together.
