Oreo is our staff celebrity cat and our Admin Office Ambassador! This terrifically tuxedo-ed kitty is what we like to call a bit of a wallflower cat and she can be a little sensitive to changes. She initially hid a lot when she arrived at our Adoption Center and we thought a change of venue would help her come out of her shell more. After just one day at Admin, she was showing our staff so much affection and only hid a few times. She was head bumping, purring and making the best half-air biscuits. We learned that she was a social eater and really enjoys affection when she's comfortable. She is cautious about new sounds but still curious. Oreo loves to be spoken to and will follow you to the door. She is a DROOLER! Which if you don't know, means she is so happy she forgets to swallow her spit - cute right? WE THINK SO! She has also found her voice and she meows for attention. Oreo likes to stay close to people and is always looking for affection. If you would like to to adopt Oreo her adoption fee is discounted! She's an amazing girl who just wants a home where someone will give her lots of love and companionship.

Lauren is a soft grey-coated girl with dark, serious eyes for a kitty so young. We think she's an old soul, based on her calm demeanor and reading preferences. Recently we found her chewing on the poems of Carl Sandburg, a local favorite poet. When not digesting literature, Lauren enjoys feathers, toy balls, and string. She's considering joining a local bridge club too. Her schedule is busy, but she has time to meet you, and hope that happens soon.
