Story
Mocha has never met a stranger. She is a friendly 1 year old, gentle girl with a big heart full of love waiting for her furever family. Mocha's disposition came naturally, she was found by a good samaritan and was taken into rescue. Mocha was also smuggling six kittens who made an appearance a few weeks later (The Tiny Panthers). From the outdoors to a vet to a foster home she walked in and out of kennels without a care. She is very trusting of people and wants nothing more than to give and get love. She has a deep love of canned cat food, wand chaser toys and people. Not a fan of the vacuum.  She is content to have her person in her sights but prefers to be close and snuggle. She has not been exposed to dogs but is open to cautiously meet other cats when her babies aren't near. Adoption is $150 which includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.All animals are up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and fixed. To meet one of our animals we require an approved application. You can fill one out at https://tobyscrittercoverescue.org/adoptionapp/ August 19, 2024, 7:24 am

Story
Hi!  My name is Tanner.  Everyone calls me Honky though.  My foster mom says my meow is pretty special like the rest of me 💗   I have blue cross-eyes, and my eyelid has a birth defect called eyelid ectropia.  I have to use fake tears because it doesn't shut quite right and my eye gets pretty dry.  I don't like getting the drops tho 😏.  I'm a really good snuggle buddy, and my foster mom says I'm the bestest boy.  I'm very talkative.  My foster mom is still learning all my habits and things I like to do because I was in quarantine for a while.  I had the run,  and no one could figure it out.   Turns out i have a coronavirus.  I'll have it for the rest of my life, and I'll never have a normal poo.    The vet says it's manageable, and I'll be able to have a normal life.   I'm still getting used to my foster dog and cat siblings since I was stuck in quarantine for a long time.   I'm really good about using my litter box, and if I do have an oopsie, it's right by the litter box.  My foster mom says my new family will be lucky people because even though I have some special needs, I really am the bestest boy. Story
While my mother was alive, we rescued a cat and shared our home with several dogs and cats without any issues. However, as my mother began hoarding items in the basement, the cats started hiding down there. Whenever I entered the basement, the cat would flee, and the dogs would give chase. Eventually, my mother confined the cat to an upstairs room. Unfortunately, the cat now hates me. The reason the cat wasn't rehomed earlier was because my mother believed that keeping the cat locked upstairs all the time was preferable to the risk of it ending up in a bad home. She felt a strong sense of responsibility for the cats well-being and wanted to ensure its safety, even if it meant limiting its freedom. The cats tail was broken when we got it and it feels no pain from it I highly suspect after 1-3 days the cat will be fine with everyone but i can't be certain This cat has been vaccinated and spayed for the purpose of being rehomed Breed and age are best guess
