Story
Fauna is a cautious kitten who is just figuring out how to trust people. She will need a patient home that wants to socialize her and give her positive interactions. She would love to have a big cat tree to climb, play and sleep in. She loves looking out the windows and enjoys napping in a window hammock. Fauna also likes playing "Cat TV" games on the computer screen. She really likes the spinning butterfly toy and tunnels. Fauna interacts best with wand toys, especially the wire and cardboard "Cat Dancer." She will also chase mice toys and soft fluffy balls. Fauna enjoys battling fluffy kicker toys as well. Fauna has learned that people are great at giving out treats! She loves Churu tubes and will gobble them up from your hands. She is also a fan of crunchy treats like the Greenies Kitten treats. While she's not quite ready for pets immediately, she does enjoy fun playtimes and food! Fauna can still get startled by environmental and household noises so having some music playing in her room will help her settled in.Kittens under 6 months old are adopted in pairs. It is important for them to go to a home with another kitten companion for their socialization and growth into a well-adjusted adult cat. Story
Sophie is 21 years old. Despite her age, she is pretty healthy. In fact, her vet commented after her exam in March 2024, that "Sophie's labs look astonishingly great for her age!" More recently, she has experienced some weakness, dehydration, generalized muscle wasting and some body mass loss. Sophie is a Siamese mix with gray/tan coloring. She is a mellow and gentle cat and very sociable. She sleeps a lot and loves attention. She'll purr at the drop of a hat.
