Story
Our dog, Marty, was purchased in Colorado Springs, CO. We got him at a Pet City after "window shopping" to show our toddler the animals. We fell in love with Marty and made him a party of our home. Marty is 2 yrs 3 months, and he was bit by another dog at a local dog park when he was 1. His demeanor completely changed and he has become increasingly reactive/protective and it is limiting what we can do with him. He's been treated with anti anxiety medication prescribed by a local vet, but the medication does not seem to help. When Marty feels safe and comfortable inside the home, he's great with children and extremely lovable. He is always on his back requesting belly rubs and likes to perch up high on furniture like a cat. The minute he hears a noise (doorbell, knock, people talking outside, etc.) he will begin frantically barking and zooming around to locate the source of the noise. We want him to go to a great home where he can have plenty of room to run, preferably solo.
