Im looking to rehome my 30lb, 5-year-old Havanese/Shih Tzu mix to a loving and experienced owner. She’s sweet and affectionate but leash reactive, so she needs someone who understands or is willing to work with that. She has never bitten anyone, just gets overstimulated and vocal at times. We have worked with a trainer and implemented some of their advice which has been very helpful! She would do best in a calm home (preferably with a backyard, I think this would be helpful for her!) with someone patient, attentive and can help to burn some of the energy that she has! She loves to play fetch with tennis balls, sleep/cuddle next to you and eat all the treats! If possible, I would prefer to do a slow transition with the rehome but this is something we would throughly discuss.

Sofia has done well with her doggy friends, especially enjoying chasing her compadres around in a fun game of tag. That’s when her puppy energy comes out, as she stays even-keeled otherwise. Sofia was a little shy when she first came to us, but has blossomed exponentially and is doing much better. If she ever encounters something scary or new, just bust out the treats and she’s sure to gobble them up and continue on! Meet Alfredo, the most perfect little companion you could ask for! This 10-pound Havanese is the definition of sweet and lovable. Alfredo loves nothing more than curling up next to his human for a cozy nap, often nestled in close for some extra warmth. His walks are a highlight of his day, as he’s always eager to say hi to every dog and person he meets with a wagging tail and a big smile. He’s incredibly friendly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him the ideal playmate for any furry friend. Alfredo is a laid-back guy who loves being held and is incredibly easygoing.
