I am a retired breeder Momma who was surrendered to Furry Kids.  I am ready to start learning about life and love! I am a little on the shy gal side when you first meet me, so it's probably best I have a calm home with someone that will be patient and understanding with me. I am a lovely, sweet gal who enjoys romping around in the fenced in yard at my foster home.  I will need a secure area to play in.  I am also house broken.  I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.   Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support! 👉Not fond of men 👉Needs another dog 👉Needs secure fenced yard 👉STILL FEARFUL BUT PROGRESSING HAVANESE LOVERS Edna has completed her vetting and ready for her forever home! Edna needs a home where she can have plenty of time to warm up to her surroundings. She is a very sweet, beautiful girl, but very fearful. Edna is a HUGE fan of treats, which will help open up! Behaviors- Edna is a very scared girl. She will approach you for gentle kisses on your hand but jump and run with any quick movements. Cats: Unknown. Other dogs: Wonderful! Edna needs other dogs, as she has separation anxiety. She is learning to play and loves company. Children: Unknown but expected to be scared of them at first. Adults: Edna is intimidated by men and will often bark when they enter the room. She prefers women. Potty Training Progress: A work in progress but does well for shorter periods. Crate trained: Not a fan. Leash trained: Not so much. Edna prefers to chew the leash off. Edna would do best in a fenced in yard.

** Requires Fenced Yard  &  Companion Dog in Home ** ** Needs Ongoing Training **   Crew is a 1 yr old, 20 lb.  Havanese / Bichon !   He is a breeder release who is getting use to human love  He loves to snuggle and play. His favorite is to run and play in his fenced back yard with a companion dog. He wears a big smile and a beautiful curled wagging tail. Crew loves his toys.   Crew needs on going training. He is still getting use to being in the house. He needs to practice basic commands .   He gives the best snuggles! He feels safe being close to his person. He is wearing a belly band in the house. Ongoing working on potty training. He potties outside,he needs to be taken outside frequently.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process. Requirements: Canine Companion Secure PHYSICAL fenced yard Regina is a shy Havanese/Poodle mix that was rescued from a puppy mill. She is learning to trust people and does best in a home with women. Regina likes to hoard all the toys and take them back to her bed. She is very playful and relaxed with other dogs and will need a confident canine playmate in her new home. Regina has opened up and trusts her foster mom and will ask for attention and more love when she is being held. Foster dad is still very scary to her and she avoids him as much as possible. Regina enjoys playing with other dogs in the yard and enjoying her freedom. She does not know how to walk on a leash and is considered a flight risk. She will require a secure physical fenced yard. Regina's adoption is $375. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps!
