Meet Buckley a 2 year old, 13 pound, Havanese/Mixed Breed dog who arrived at CAMO as a stray on June 24, 2024. Buckley is an active pup who loves playing outside with other dogs and enjoys getting pets once he trust you. Buckley must trust you before he lets you pet him. He is highly treat motivated. So thats a good start for building a relationship with him. While Buckley is generally good-natured, he can be nippy when his face is touched. He's still working on his potty training and leash training, but he does a good job of keeping his kennel pretty clean. Buckley would do best in an adult only home with a family who has expierence with a dog who has boundaries. Buckley is ready to find a forever home with patience where he can continue to learn and grow while sharing his playful energy and affection. Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Lucca is a 9-year-old Havanese mix weighing 8 pounds who was found as a stray before being brought to Camo Rescue's Houston area facility. When Lucca arrived at Camo, he was covered in matts and completely shut down. After being given some time to decompress, he has started to come around and show his sweet side. Lucca is a very quiet and calm dog who enjoys life on the slow side. He loves laying around the house and receiving lots of love and pets. Although he gets along with other dogs, he prefers to ignore them and keep to himself. Despite his shyness, Lucca has a deep love for his people. Lucca is working amazingly on his potty training and walks great on a leash. His gentle nature and calm demeanor make him the perfect companion for a peaceful household. He would thrive in a calm home, whether with an older couple looking for a quiet, affectionate friend or a calm, loving family that can provide him with the tranquility he craves. Lucca will bring joy and warmth to any home, always ready to share his love and companionship. With his sweet personality and endearing presence, Lucca will be all smiles in his new home, making every day a little brighter for those around him.
