Story
Meet Juice Box! This stunning boy was transferred to us from Chesapeake in search of his purrfect home. Juice Box has previously done well with children 8+ and would prefer to be the only pet of the house, but he has enough personality for two! Juice Box is a vocal, attention-demanding, wet-food-loving lap cat who wants to be the center of his adopters` world. Juice Box is FIV+, meaning his immune system doesn`t work quite as well as the average cat`s, but as long as he is kept indoors at all times Juice Box can live a very long and healthy life. If you have questions about FIV and how to manage it at home, please ask a cattery staff member. Juice Box is patiently waiting for his furrever home, could yours be the right fit for him? Come by the shelter to meet this sweet boy today!

PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you!  Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion. ##2275552##

Story
Photos upon request Maggie May June Pearl is a seal point Himalayan. She’s a beautiful cat! She’s recently become extremely territorial and combative. She needs to be an only child. She’s litter box trained, does fine with dogs (we have a large dog), does fine with older children (I can’t speak for toddlers - she came into our home when our youngest was in middle school). She’s not a cuddler but will loves to be in your presence and sleeps with you at your feet. If you’re looking for a companion , she can fill that gap!

Story
Meet Dusty! Simba and Dusty are two feline friends who are looking for a new and loving home to call their own. They are both sweet, snoozing, loving, frisky boys that you will often find sleeping on the coziest piece of furniture in the room, or looking out a window bird watching. They are both huge fans of both attention and treats! They are a 7 year old bonded pair that are used to living the indoor lifestyle surrounded by the ones they love. They are even pine pellet litter box trained! They are also good with other dogs and cats. If you are interested in them, please contact Maleah at 540-397-7723 or email Woodmaleah@gmail.com
