Story
We are rehoming him bc we are now expecting & do not want to take the risk as he has shown aggression towards babies. We have had him for 3 years and he does fine with older children. We are not willing to adopt him to a family with children under the age of 10. Born March 2021. Around 50lbs. Up to date on all vaccines. On monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention. Require a grain-free diet. He loves being outside! He enjoys the water and hiking trails. He is a super playful and a very good dog. He would not do well in a home with any small pets. He has been the only pet weve had, so he is used to being the only dog. Is house trained. Knows basic commands- sit, down, come, shake, stay, off. Crated when we have company, but not at night or when we leave. He does not like being groomed. We will give everything we have for him to his new home. Crate, bed, bowls, leashes, long line, harness, toys, treats.

Story
Tod is a joyful and charismatic 21 pound companion! As a 3 year old corgi/aussie mix, he has piercing blue eyes, beautiful fur the color of a buttered popcorn jellybean, and adorable stumpy legs that are moving nonstop. Tod is full of energy and would most likely enjoy another dog to play with. He is potty trained, learning to walk nice on a leash, does well in his crate and in the car, although his favorite place is to be cuddling in your lap. He is lovingly called “dozer” because he will push his way through just about anything to be by your side. Tod is very social and friendly, and he has been very sweet to the senior dog in his foster home. He has not been around cats or children to our knowledge. He is heartworm positive, but is not currently showing any symptoms and is handling his initial treatment like a champ. Overall, Tod is a special little guy that will bring so much laughter and love to his future family! Tod's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm treatment and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##2226325##
