Meet Puddles – the adorable terrier-Chihuahua mix looking for his forever home! This sweet boy came to us from Fresno with his sister, Ladybug, after their family could no longer keep them. They were shelter-bound, but luckily, they made their way to the Bay Area, and now they’re ready for their second chance! Puddles is a smart, active puppy who needs a family that can keep up with his energy—both physically and mentally. He loves other dogs and would likely do well with cats. Because of his sharp puppy teeth, we recommend a home with children past the toddler stage. At just 6 pounds now, Puddles will likely grow to around 15 pounds. He’s still learning what it means to be a family member, so he’ll need training, guidance, and lots of love. He’ll be fully vaccinated in just a few weeks and ready for walks, playdates, and all the adventures that come with being part of a family. Puddles is as cute as they come—help us find him a home where he can thrive!

Story

Maize is a generally chill, but always down to play little lady (10-11 years old). She was originally a rescue that we brought into our family 6 years ago. While it took a bit to get her into a comfort zone, she quickly became a part of our pack. Not only that, we realized that she absolutely loves people - she's a little star of the show. Maize thrives most on attention, and has no problem sitting on your lap or talking a long walk / jog. She's not into sticks or balls like many dogs, but loves her green dog and skunk toy; she will play fetch or tug with either. Maize is also pretty low maintenance - all she needs is love, but she won't turn down treats either ;) Maize is house trained, knows basic commands, and is really good with kids (even babies). She is protective of our family and will growl / snap at other dogs she does not know when they get close. However, once she gets to know another dog, she's comfortable with them around and will play (though she prefers her humans).

Introducing this gorgeous brindle girl, Riley, to you! She is 11 months old, weighing in at about 33 lbs. She will probably be 40-45 lbs fully grown. You'll notice that she is missing her left eye. We had to have it removed as she had quite severe glaucoma and it could not be saved. The vets say that the other eye is fine and shows no signs of the same issue and requires no medication. We think she looks like a gorgeous pirate. Riley is an active dog and will need an active family to keep her exercised and happy. Riley is crate trained and smart, friendly and playful. She has some growing to do and like all puppies will need some further training. She is potty trained to pads.
