Story

This is Buttercup. She is a 15 year old Jack Russell mix. She has been with us since a puppy. Our lives have changed a lot in the last year or so and time/attention have become a real issue. We decided as a family that Buttercup seems to have some time left to enjoy life (you would never guess that she is 15 years old) and that we are not giving her the attention that she once had and deserves. She is an extremely owner-loyal dog. In most of our children's photos through the years, there she is in one corner or another of the photo just watching over. She deserves to enjoy and be enjoyed. I think someone who can give her attention would truly enjoy her loyal companionship. She needs more people time, more walks, a little more of everything. As difficult of a decision as this is, I am doing what I feel and hope will be the best for her. She is crate trained. She also lived most of her life with another small dog.

Daisy Mae is a five-year-old Jack Russell mixed breed and weighs about 35 pounds. I have other dogs, and she gets along well with them. She is very sweet and minds well but can be hyperactive and will destroy stuffed toys or ones with squeakers. She needs a yard with a fence as she likes to run in the yard. She is crate trained but loves to sleep on the sofa. She enjoys going for walks on the leash. I need to find her a new home as I have taken in four dogs, and Daisy Mae needs to have more attention than I can give her. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is currently on flea and heartworm prevention. She also has a microchip which is transferrable. I can text additional photos upon request.

Prince will be 7 years old this on December 10. He was the last born of a litter of 4 and the only male. He and his sisters have been with us since birth as he was born in our home, his father is still with us. 2 of his sisters have gone to great homes and we hope Prince can find his as well. He is shy but affectionate once you get through him. Food motivated and loves walks as well. No food allergies that we know. He is great around kids and other pets as well as he is shy. Crate trained, house trained, knows some tricks such as sit, stay, come, and the Crate command associated with going in his crate on command, and sometimes lay down. Prince is a kind friend and we still see a little puppy when we see his face and he definitely acts the part.

Penny is a very affectionate friend whose looking for a special home. Penny is 6 and will be 7 years old December 10 and was the first born of a litter of 4. She was born and has been in the same house since birth with one of her litter siblings and her father. Penny is very food driven and loves to receive affection. She loves walks as well. Penny knows some tricks such as sit, stay, come, and "Crate" as a command to enter her crate. She is crate trained, house trained and great on walks. Great with kids, other pets once a proper introduction has been established.
