You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Maui! This spunky little fella came into our care as an owner surrender. Maui's previous owner got him from a Jack Russell Terrier breeder, but after a short while decided a younger, active family would be best for Maui while he continues to grow and go through the puppy stages of life. Maui has lived with and gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs. He is a curious little guy and enjoys exploring the great outdoors! Maui has been brought up-to-date on his age appropriate vaccinations, has been neutered, received a microchip, and has been started on monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. The ideal adoptive family for Maui will be committed to taking obedience and proper socialization classes for his continued growth and development. A family that is also committed to helping him continue to strengthen his house-training skills would be great, as we all know this requires a lot of patience and persistence with working on a schedule. Young little guys like Maui need to be taken outside frequently - as often as every 4 hours while working on a routine. So an ideal home for him will be one where he won't have long periods of time during the day spent alone, so he can have the best chance of successful housetraining and have years of wonderful love and devotion to focus on! We know he is a very sharp little guy and appears to be a quick learner! If you are interested in adopting Maui please fill out an adoption application as the first step of the adoption process.
