Story
Daisy is a lovely, well behaved, 1.5-yr-old girl. She is a Jack Russell in a Pug suit. Because she is a Terrier, Daisy should live in a home where there are no other dogs. She loves to be held and patted like a burping baby. Like a toddler, she will climb your leg when she wants to be held. During T.V. time, the only place she wants to be is sitting on your shoulder, curled up around your neck. She is like having the best parts of a dog and a cat. Daisy sleeps in her bed, inside her cage, and LOVES getting into her cage at night...(which we cover). She is also an excellent watchdog; loud and fearless. We did have to get coffee cups with lids, because she will risk any punishment to get her morning coffee. Daisy MUST be kept in constant supply of BOTH chewy bones and rawhides- (because Jugs chew up and eat EVERYTHING you give them, all day long). Daisy has never been destructive to household furnishings. Gets carsick if her bed isn't in the car. Available with her sister, Tullip.

Story
Tullip is a lovely, well behaved, 1.5-yr-old girl. The Jack Russell in Tullip is noticeably tempered by the Pug influence. Because she is a Terrier, Tullip should live in a home where there are no other dogs. She is EXTREMELY energetic and playful, and she loves to cuddle! Any time the family is sitting down, she will want to be curled up at someone;s hip, and she LOVES to watch TV...(seriously). Tullip sleeps on her bed in her cage, and LOVES to get in her cage at night for bed...(which we cover). Tullip MUST be kept in constant supply of BOTH chew-bones and rawhides, because Jugs chew up and eat EVERYTHING you give them, all day long. She is also an excellent watchdog; loud and fearless. Tullip has never been destructive to household furnishings. On the down side, Tullip cannot tolerate being held/restrained; she likes to snuggle while standing on her own two feet. And she is a notorious french-kisser and nose cleaner if she gets too close. Available with her sister, Daisy.

Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Roxie is a very loving dog to all people and children. She is good with cats. Enjoys being outside wandering around, can swim for almost an hour straight, and will grab up any small infestation-type animal (mice, moles, etc) Roxie can be cuddly but enjoys her space. Will “clean up” after an accidental food mess. After years of working with Roxie, it has been decided it is time for her to be loved in another home. She will do perfectly in any home with any animals (maybe apart from small animals ie. Hampsters/guinea pigs/etc) and any age people. She will live out her life happily in a home where she is the ONLY dog.
