Story
Bun-Bun Benito is as fun and original as the Puerto Rican Grammy winning singer songwriter Bad Bunny (Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio) that he is named for. He is funny and quirky and trills and sings to you of his desire to love you and to be loved. His bonded sister, the lovely and mysterious Chèrie Pi, who lends her voice to their joyous daily duet. This duo was rescued from the middle of a residential street in Arlington where they sat frozen in fear in front of the rescuer’s car. Both were born Manx, with Bun-Bun Benito (BBB) having no tail and his torti sister having a nub. Chèri Pi’s dash of a nub telegraphs her emotions when you learn to read it’s short messages. BBB does not need a tail to tell of his intentions, it is in his whole body, the tilt of his head, that look in his eyes. His rabbit like long legs can go zero to a hundred in a heartbeat (especially if his sister is in hot pursuit). They prefer their own company but play well with other kitties and love our dogs, one big with a fluffy tail they want to play with and a grumpy little, old one they have learned not to pounce on. Unknown how they are with children. Bun-Bun Benito and Chèrie Pi love a quick scamper up the cat tree (or the wooden room divider) as a tall perch is a favorite happy place. He may get such a wild hair to prove that his good looks and dance moves are backed by quirky charm and a desire for the view from the top of the charts. Both energetic kittens love a good kicker toy (when given to them so that they can give a go at something inanimate and not continue to put the smackdown on each other. They wrestle with the seriousness of siblings vying for one spot in the WWF. A simple plastic spring or the Halloween eyeball ball can engage them happily together and they make their own fun. Both love to leap twist like an acrobatics or sit like a meerkat to swat a jingle toy on a stick (sometimes preferring the stick end with its special tooth worthy properties). A soft blanket will elicit instant purrs from each with BBB best at immediate biscuit making and Chèrie giving quick busses and head bumps. If you pick her brother up when he is in the throes of such sweetness, he might just hug your neck and relish in your kisses. Chèrie Pi is funny and fierce and sweet as …well… cherry pie. She has a tortie’s attitude which some might say is cooly mathematical (a touch irrational?) or perhaps just very French…with an eye to sophisticated and artistic judgement…and she will trill and sing to you to get you to pay attention to her views. BBB and his sassy sister would love to take center stage in your family and would bask in the spotlight of your love. When can we book their audition? Born 9/16/2024 This kitten has not had second shots yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for shots later. If you are interested in meeting this kitten, please email MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit the foster home!
