Story
Beya is a 2 year old, 15 lb. Maltese/Poodle mix. Beya had a very rough start in life and is now learning to trust people and how to be a dog. This sweet girl just needs some time and patience to come out of her shell and trust again. But she is well worth the wait! Once comfortable, Beya will cuddle up next to you and is so snuggly - it's precious to watch! Beya is blossoming in her foster home and has mastered crate and potty training. She does well with her routine and hopes to continue it and be successful in her forever home one day! Beya is still learning that leashes aren't so scary and is enjoying walks in her neighborhood. She also has enjoyed the company of her calmer foster dog sibling and will wake her up to play in the morning! She would love to find a home where she is either an only pet or has a calm, patient canine buddy to play with! Beya does have a lot of energy when she gets comfortable and loves to run around and play in her yard. She is loving these fun new things her foster mom calls "toys" and enjoys the plush and squeaky ones the most! They are so fun to play with and snuggle with and she hopes her forever home will have lots of them she can enjoy! Beya can't wait to find her happily ever after and grow up with a family who will cherish her and bring out the best in her! Story
Mae Mae is a 9 year old, 8 lb. Maltese Sweet Mae Mae is the ultimate snuggle buddy! A day in life of Mae Mae would definitely be filled with lots of relaxation, fluffy blankets, cuddles and pets, and maybe a couple of short walks during the day. She is an easy-going girl who just wants to be next to her humans. She will even be your shadow and follow you through the house. She's very polite and quiet but always likes to tag along! Mae Mae would make the best work from home buddy since all she wants to do is sit in your lap and snooze. She does well in the car and would love to go out with you for a quiet dinner on a restaurant patio, or to an outdoor coffee shop on a lazy afternoon. Mae Mae likes taking short walks in her neighborhood, just to get in some fresh air and sniffs, but she doesn't last too long and after coming back inside she is ready for a good long snooze. She would love to find a calmer home where she can enjoy your company and live the "chill" life! If you think Mae Mae is the right fit for your life, apply to meet her today! ** Mae Mae does have dental issues which are being addressed and treated by CrisisDogsNC ** Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Story
Luna is an 8 year old, 12 lb. Maltese Luna is an absolute precious little lady! At 8 years old, she has mastered all her potty training, crate training, and leash training and is such a well-manner, sweet girl! She loves being around her family and finding an open lap or fluffy blanket to cuddle up on. She is the perfect blend of active and chill as she likes taking short walks around her neighborhood or playing in her yard and then coming in to snuggle up and get lots of pets and be the cutest "lap warmer"! Luna would love to find a more mature, calmer home where she can live a cushy, relaxed life! She hasn't been around many kids but would most likely do well with older kids who understand and can respect her smaller size. She can be pretty independent but gets along with other dogs who are around her size and won't step on her (she's only 12 lbs!) If you are ready to open your heart and home to a new family member, Luna checks pretty much every box and would love to meet you!
