Hello! I'm Syrup!They say good things come to those who wait. I hope the good things include a forever home! I've been a shelter dog for a while; however, I've spent a lot of time in a foster home and have been reported to be the most well-mannered roommate! I may take a minute to warm up to new people, but once you're in my circle of trust, I am the most affectionate, loving boy ever! I'm not a fan of other dogs and kids, so a quieter, adults-only home where someone is around most of the time is best! Let's see what else? Well, that's about it! On the plus side, I'm a great explorer and will impress you with my leash manners! I'm fully potty-trained and will hang out with you on the couch or bed as long as you'll let me. Oh, I also LOVE playing ball in the backyard pool!See Syrup in action! He walks great on the leash. He rides good in the car, enjoys looking outside, feeling the fresh air blow in his face.  He is a very happy boy always has his tail wagging. He likes to hang around with his family and go on walk/hike. He loves lots of pets. He loves to go in the water, non reactive to other dogs during walks/hikes. He is well mannered in public. No kids, Unknown about cats, if you have another dog a dog introduction is needed and is done by the rescue.   Come meet Bear he is currently waiting for his fur-ever home in boarding.
