Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. TANIA & TIARA were saved by SAVE KOREAN DOGS from Tobong Dog Slaughterhouse on June 29th 2022  from a horrendous and painful evil death. She arrived in the US on 2nd November 2023. TANIA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, she is on monthly preventatives, de-wormed and microchipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 21 January 2021 and weighs around 40 pounds. She is a Jindo mix breed dog, with the Jindo being a national treasure. Tania is a sweet gentle girl who is in need of a home that is going to go slow and show her love and give her the security she needs, whilst going out on walks and adventures and helping her get familiar with the strange environment, strange noises and smells that are so very different to south Korea. Unfortunately Tania's sister Tiara passed away in January 2025 and so Tania is alone without her sister, but here at the rescue with the house pack. TAnia is shy and nervous which is to be expected with all she has endured so we are looking for a nice chilled out family who enjoys walks and adventures, but also chilling on the coach. Tania is great with other dogs, having lived with 15 here at the rescue and has not been phased by the cats, although the cats do tend to stay out of the way. Please be sure to follow our Facebook page for regular updates as we do not always have the time to update the website and adoption sites on all the individual dogs. We also post video's on our YouTube channel where you can see the dogs personalities, get a better idea of age and looks also. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue  YouTube channel  and  photo albums on our Facebook page  to see a LOT of pictures and videos. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838  Click here to watch a video of TANIA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2025, 8:36 am

Story
Meet Snowflake! He is a jindo mixed breed who got rescued recently from our team. He is one-year-old, 15.8kg/34.8lbs boy. Behaviours from the previous foster: He is very smart and gentle. He is well potty-trained. He isn’t a big barter. Even if he barks when he is scared by a stranger, he can stop soon with your short and firm “No”. He has no separation anxieties at all and he is ok with bath, groomming, ear cleaning. (He gets a little bit nervous in the dry room but can be stay still.) He has good walking manner. He can walk at owner’s pace together. He gets along with other dogs too. But he walks, he tends to concentrate to only his walking. He doesn’t have any interest in other people and dogs on his walk. He may be a little bit shy at first time, But he will approach to you once you give him some time and space to get used to his new environment and his new family. He loves people so much and especially the one who give him an attention and cuddles. He has so much love in him. He will give you a big love if you show him your love. He would love to play with you and be with you forever. Allergy/health issues: He is a little bit weak in the intestine. Sometimes he eats his poop, called ‘coprophagy’ Which is known as one of the symptom came from indigestion. We feed him lactobacillus to help it. He tends to eat in a hurry, Which is not good to digestion. So we also feed him with slow-wearing machine to help him eat slowly.

He doesn't mark on things, but he will need house training as he is just a baby. He isn't a big barker, either. He may bark sometimes to get your attention and love- but it is quite rare. He is ok with collar, hareness and leash- but he will need training on his walk. He is good with other doggie friends- He is also good with strangers and kids- He will need some time to get used to them at first, but he will become more comfortable and friendly after some time. He is also good with bathing and grooming. He doesn't love ear cleaning, but he will let you do it with gentle touch. Coconut is just happy baby boy who loves his doggie friends and people. Story
Meet Hamong❤️ Hamong was rescued from a shelter in South Korea along with Haru. Adogs visited the shelter for a cold-weather volunteer activity and found puppies shivering in the cold. Considering the poor shelter conditions, especially for young Hamong and Haru, they decided to rescue them. • With People: Doesn’t show fear or nervousness around strangers. Is affectionate with familiar people and loves being a lap dog, often climbing onto laps to show his charm! • With Dogs: Gets along well with the other dogs at his foster home. Observes and learns from his dog siblings, picking up good manners and training. Is a peaceful pup who waits patiently for his turn when others are playing with toys, instead of competing for them. • Separation Anxiety: May whine a little when his caregiver prepares to leave, but settles down with his siblings after they leave. • House Training: Is about 90% pad-trained and improving every day. May need some time in adapting himself when he moves in a new circumstances. • Walks: Hasn’t been on walks yet as his vaccinations are still in progress. • Is bold and easygoing, even when other dogs growl at him. Calmly handles the situation without being fazed! 💙 Foster's Instagram: @rkdalswl14
