Story
Fall in love with Keke, she’s Jindo perfection and so easy to love because we think she’s pretty perfect !!!…. “Keeks” as her foster mom calls her, was one of more than 60 dogs we saved years ago -  from meat farms, and markets, while assisting some great rescues in South Korea. Her life was hard there,  but when she came to us her world changed and she was adopted and certainly loved. But things changed for the couple and she came back to us 4 years later - no fault of her own. Their divorce was the reason, and when we found out she was to come back to us ( which is part of our contract) they instead dropped her at a local kill shelter without any of her belongings …. WHAAAAT ?  Thank heavens our dogs ALWAYS have US on microchips as backup to call and we busted it there the minute we got the call.  Keeks will NOT have an accident no matter - no crating needed - good with all dogs, just doesn’t vibe with kitties. She’s quiet and chill but does love to cuddle and play at just 6 years old. Keeks is around 35 pounds max and this is a perfect picture of her Jindo personality ! She is a very intelligent, affectionate, and loving dog. Anyone who sees her falls in love with her. • Crate-trained • Potty only outside. • No aggression at all. • She gets along with all dogs and is friendly. • Rarely barks. • She grooms herself like a cat and keeps herself clean :) • She does well with bathing, brushing, and nail trimming. Story
❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Pansoo👋 Pansoo was only 2 months old when he was found tied to a 3-foot-long leash outside in an extremely poor environment. The rescuer (current foster) advised the previous owner on proper care of the dog, but nothing improved afterward. One day, Pansoo looked very ill, so the rescuer took him to the vet. He was diagnosed as infected with tetanus, and the previous owner did not care whether he survived or not. Eventually, the rescuer took Pansoo to his home to give him decent care. It has been four months since Pansoo came to his foster home, and he has completely recovered and is healthily growing! • Personality: Easy-going in general. Not a big fan of too much cuddle but he enjoys gentle pets. He gets scared of new sounds and spaces, so he needs to experience lots of things with his family. • Affinity with - Dogs: As a young pup, he is super playful, especially with smaller-sized dogs since he was taught a lesson by another male dog in his foster home. He still needs to learn how to approach other dogs gently.  - Cats: He doesn't react to cats on the streets. - Adults: Shy with new faces at first but generally curious and friendly around people. • Walking Manners: He tends to walk faster than you as he is still young but paces well over time. His foster has been training him, especially for crowded places. • House-trained: mostly potty outside and sometimes pees indoors on pee-pads with occasional accidents yet. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good with brushing, while he tolerates bathing okay • Car Sickness: Very good with car rides • Crate-trained: in training. He's still not familiar with a crate but very good at training as long as there are treats! • Separation Anxiety: None. Toys and treats are necessary in a case he wants to chew things while being left alone at home. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Not stirred up by other barking dogs.  • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. Strongly food-motivated, meaning good at training. Eats meals twice a day. • Shedding level (low-mid-high): medium during shedding seasons / low during off-seasons • Energy level (1~10): 10 when running in a dog park and playing/chewing toys, 7 when playing with toys alone. • Likes/Dislikes: likes running around, snuggling on the bed, petting, playing with close friends, chewing socks/toys, having treats, training with treats, and giving hugs and kisses / not a fan of getting wet in the rain and wet laundry clothes shaken out. • Commands/Skills: paw, sit, and stay.  If you have an open heart and a loving home for Pansoo, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
❗Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea❗ • Rescue Story : Jinnie was found on a street in Paju, South Korea at just two months old and taken to a high-risk shelter along with her five siblings. Right before euthanasia, they were saved by HDS Rescue, and later on, three of her siblings found their homes, while Jinnie is still searching for her forever home. Jinnie was lucky to have an opportunity to live in a foster home for about a year and a half from her puppyhood until Dec 2022 when she turned two. Since then, she has been living with numerous dogs in the crowded shelter, where there cannot be undivided love for her. Jinnie still remembers how nice and lovely her home was. We hope she doesn’t forget that and gets another chance to live in a loving home again but permanently this time. • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Gentle Jinnie is super friendly and full of sweetness! She thrives on love and affection, making her the perfect fit for anyone seeking a loyal and lovely fur soulmate. She would do better in a home with another furry companion. • Affinity with -Cats: Gentle with kitties -Dogs: She does well with other dogs. She was sent to a daycare regularly during the foster period, so she learned manners and how to socialize. -Adults/Kids: Good with adults including men / Unknown for kids • Shedding : 5-7 • Food Allergies : She may be a little allergic to chicken and grain according to her previous foster family, but this needs to be confirmed by a vet later. • Walking Manner : Mostly gentle on a walk but gets excited about birds and other doggies. • Housetrained : fully housebroken, going potty indoors (pee-pads) & outdoors whenever she was in the foster home. • Bathing/Brushing : very good • Separation Anxiety : She tends to have mild separation anxiety due to strong attachment to her people, so having another furry companion in a home would be beneficial for her to feel more comfortable and secure. • Bark or Howl : No. • Like & Dislike : One of her favorite things is just to be around her people, which is well known among the shelter staff and volunteers! Plus, she likes playing with balls! / She is not a fan of being left alone. • Health : very healthy!
