Story
Teddy was initially rescued by people who had the best intentions. Their goal is to keep stray dogs safe and off the dangerous streets, but with limited funds, and little knowledge of animal care, soon realized that the best thing for Teddy and other strays was to take them to a shelter for proper care. We gladly welcomed him to Petrescue. Teddy has been in foster with dogs of all sizes and he plays and gets along well with all, but is not a fan of cats. He is an active dog, a total tail wagger who is eager to be loved. Teddy is food motivated, which is always a plus when it comes to training, but he can eat in the same room as his foster buddies, with no problem. Teddy can't wait to be the giver and receiver of all the love he's been missing. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30. If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website at www.ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.

Story
"Please become the loving family of Songyi ❤️ Songyi is a puppy born to stray dogs living on a small hill in Gimpo. She had to always protect herself to survive among adult dogs, and due to her disabilities, she sometimes had to gather food separately. She was rescued after being bullied by other dogs and finding herself in dangerous situations. Leaving the hill was a new and frightening experience for Songyi, and she faced conflicts with new friends. It wasn't easy for them to open their hearts to humans either. 😢 Thanks to the efforts of the rescuers, Songyi is getting along well with her friends and is eagerly learning while waiting for her family. She is curious about everyone and shows endless affection to her rescuers. We hope she can spend the rest of her life in the warmth of a loving family. She is seeking a lifelong family that will be a source of strength and support for her. Although her disabilities may be a bit challenging, she is just like any other companion. Please be a strong family for our beautiful Songyi. ❤️"
