Possessive towards food or toys or etc. with humans and/or other dogs? - She have no experience living with other dogs for long periods of time, so it's hard to say for sure. However, she has never shown any form of aggression or possessiveness when around people. 23. Any past or present health issues? - She was infected with heartworm but was completely cured. No other diseases were found. 24. Rescue story? - Dali was rescued after wandering alone in the downtown area of Seogwipo, Jeju island, South Korea. She was very thin at the time of her first discovery, rather frightened, but she wasn't very wary of people. She was passively chasing after this person and that person as if she wanted someone to rescue her, but when a person showed interest, she ran a little far away and repeatedly distanced herself. At the time of the rescue, I was on my way home after buying a sandwich with my old dog. The wandering dog seemed to need help at a glance, but I had no hand to hold the dog because I held my old dog in one hand and a sandwich in the other. Of course, there was no leash or anything. I moved to the house little by little, saying warm words such as 'Do you want to go to my house' and 'Do you want to eat some food and water?' to the extent that she didn't run away. The dog repeatedly followed me a little bit and then moved away, conflicting between worrying about whether to follow me and wanting to solve hunger and get help. After luring her toward the house for a long time, she finally came very carefully into my door. She drank water as if she hadn't taken a sip of water for days, and she ate feed in a hurry before pouring it into the bowl. It's been a year since I started like that, and now she is doing well both in the house and in the yard, and when people visit my house, she is the first to go out and welcome. But still, when things change a little, she gets scared and hide. It still seems like it will take some time for her to have full faith that the world around her is safe, that no one will harm her, and that only they will love her.

Story
Hi, my name is Yoda. I was found wandering around a golf course in the mountains. Life was tough back then. I was pregnant when I was rescued, but sadly, my little ones didn't make it. It was just me and my mom survived. 💖 Personality: I might seem a bit shy at first, but give me a chance, and you'll see how quickly I warm up to you. I love people and can even enjoy a good cuddle! I already know commands like sit, stay, and paw. So, you won't have to worry about teaching me the basics. I'm a quick learner and eager to please. 🚶 Walks and Exploring: I haven't had many adventures in the outside world, so busy roads and loud cars can be a bit overwhelming for me. I might flatten myself to the ground in unfamiliar situations. But don't worry, with time and patience, I'll learn to embrace the great outdoors! 🏡 Home Life: After a walk, I'm all about chilling quietly. I'm well-behaved inside my kennel, and I rarely bark. Outdoor potty breaks are my preference. 🐕 Other Dogs: I'm not one to pick fights. Even when other dogs try to provoke me, I'd rather steer clear. I'm great at greetings, but playtime isn't my top priority. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJc_7Cxe0m8&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzzWz9-erIXEOyg9oZGL-AV ❤ we accept both Canada/US applicants ❤

Born to a stray mother in a rural area, Sophie and her four siblings faced a challenging start in life. Fortunately, they were rescued and have been thriving in a loving foster home ever since. About Him/Her Sophie is a unique blend of playful energy and affectionate calm. She adores her squeaky ball and can entertain herself for hours, showcasing her independent spirit. However, she also cherishes snuggle time with her humans, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a balance of activity and relaxation. This young dog is active and loves outdoor adventures, but once inside, she transforms into a mellow and calm presence. Her foster family has helped her socialize with many people and dogs, but due to her mild resource guarding tendencies, Sophie would do best as the only pet in her new home. She doesn't attack but prefers to keep her toys, treats, and other belongings to herself. Sophie has a mild food allergy and does best on a diet limited to one protein source. When she consumes chicken, she tends to lick her paws, so her current diet avoids it to keep her comfortable and healthy. Are you looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion? Sophie might just be the perfect fit for your home. With her unique personality and sweet disposition, she’s ready to bring joy and love to a family that understands her needs. Rescued from a high-kill shelter as a puppy, he found a loving home where he thrived under dedicated care. Sadly, due to circumstances beyond his control, Komi is now seeking a new family who will cherish him as much as his current owner does. About Him/Her Despite facing unwarranted criticism and mistreatment from some in his town, Komi's heart remains open and trusting towards people. Komi is also very friendly with other dogs, always up for a play session of tug-of-war or fetching his favourite ball. At home, Komi is a calm companion with a low energy level, content to relax and patiently waiting for his family's return. Outdoors, he comes alive with playful energy, enjoying his time exploring and staying active. As a young puppy under one-year-old, Komi still has some growing to do and plenty of love to give. Komi is in excellent health, with a bright future ahead of him. He is ready to embark on the next chapter of his life, ideally in a loving home where he can thrive without fear or prejudice. Born in a bustling shelter with over 1,600 dogs, Youngsil waited patiently for four long years before his turn to be rescued finally arrived. Now this brave soul is ready to embark on a new journey, eager to learn the joys of a normal doggy life, and discover the love of a forever home. About Him Can you imagine being born in a prison and living there for 20 years? That was Youngsil’s life. He endured rough treatment when he needed care the most—never receiving treats, toys, or the freedom to walk and run. He was never brushed or washed, a simple luxury he missed out on in his shelter days. It's not fair because Youngsil did nothing wrong. Thankfully, Youngsil is a quick learner. He’s catching up on everything he missed out on. He’s learned to enjoy car rides (you might have to scoop him up into the car), and his walking manners are great. While he's still unsure around other dogs on walks, with growing confidence, he might soon want to sniff and play with them. Initially, he would panic when seeing his harness and leash, but now he calmly goes to his safe zone and sits, waiting for you. This panic is getting shorter as his trust grows. Youngsil is still learning about baths, nail clipping, and being brushed, but he’s making progress every day. He's started enjoying his newfound freedom, doing zoomies in the backyard and trying to play with other dogs. He’s discovered the excitement of pet stores and all the intriguing smells they hold. Once Youngsil trusts you, he will show his tummy, but it will take some time. His adopter will need to work with him to teach him that the world is safe and humans can be trusted, but it is so worth it. Youngsil is a very happy and intelligent boy, greeting you with excited barks. When you leave home, he might howl with his beautiful voice, though he stops after a couple of times. He can be left alone for up to 8 hours and has lived peacefully with cats. We believe Youngsil would thrive with a backyard where he can run freely. Are you ready to give this resilient and hopeful boy the loving home he deserves? Found as a tiny puppy in a high-kill shelter, Moya's early history remains a mystery, but one thing is for sure — she's ready to start a new chapter with a loving family. About Him/Her Meet Moya, the playful pup who's ready to find her forever home! Moya has been under the excellent care of our partner rescuer, and now she's eager to bring joy and love to a new family. Moya is always up for fun, whether it's chasing toys, running around, or enjoying a cozy nap. Her boundless curiosity drives her to explore the world around her, making every day an adventure. A true social butterfly, Moya loves meeting new people and making friends. She's wonderful with guests and adapts quickly to new environments, although she can be a bit cautious at first. Moya's friendly nature and quick learning make her a delightful companion. Energetic and full of life, Moya loves running and playing with other dogs. She enjoys playful nipping, so she may not be the best fit for senior dogs, but she'd thrive as the only dog or with another young, energetic dog who can match her playful spirit. Currently, Moya is in a foster home in Waterloo, where she's making great progress with potty training. She was born with a medical condition, confirmed by a CT scan, but according to our partner's vet, it doesn't affect her life, and no treatment is necessary. Moya is ready to bring endless fun, love, and loyalty to her forever family. Story
I'm Narang, a 6-year-old Jindo Chow mix with a heart full of love. I was rescued just in time from a shelter in Iksan Si where I was sadly facing euthanasia. I adore people so much that I might bark a bit when I first meet someone new, but it's just my way of saying hello. In no time, I'll be nudging you for pets and cuddles. I'm polite with other dogs; I'll say hello, but I'm not much of a rough player. If another dog barks, I might get a bit excited, so I prefer a calm atmosphere. Food, though, I don't mind sharing at all, whether it's with humans or furry friends. During walks, I might pull on the leash a bit, but I'm generally good at following your lead. I'm currently recovering from heartworm treatment, so occasional diarrhea is part of my healing process. However, I'm a good eater and prefer doing my business outside. I dream of finding a forever home where I can be the center of someone's world. If you're looking for a loving companion who craves your affection and is ready to share a lifetime of joy, I'm your girl. Let's make memories together! Adopt me, and let's start our journey of love and happiness. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jzj_0ZnVvkvGDkBXoz2jVy1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H40gvTvIdsc&list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jzj_0ZnVvkvGDkBXoz2jVy1&index=4 https://youtu.be/H40gvTvIdsc?si=RsAUfxedNW1lXidc https://youtu.be/F4ec8oStfa8?si=OjuCqoVAgFVeFy8x https://youtu.be/HsilthM_ef0?si=reHSkb851kMpBHKt
