Maraschino will be the cherry on your sundae! She is a bit timid and scared at first but warms up nicely. She would be fine with another dog if that dog is calm and/or a similar size to her, but can get overwhelmed by larger dogs. She is good at walking on a leash and enjoys a leisurely stroll and then coming back for a nap! With Maraschino being small, curious, and skittish, she needs a home with a very secure fence that she can't find ways to squeeze through (or she needs to be leashed when outside, just to make sure she stays put with her people). She is still working on perfecting her basic puppy manners and skills (like potty training, crate training, and basic commands). She's making good progress but needs a patient family ready to continue her lessons. She is very treat motivated, which is helpful. She is absolutely precious and loves to be loved! Maraschino just needs a little extra time to adjust to new situations to be comfortable.

Meet Macie! She is a sweet senior girl with a great appreciation for the simple things in life. She loves sleeping in her human's bed, sticking her head out the car window, sniffing in the yard, and eating food (including occasionally stealing people food - we are working on this!). She is housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, great with other dogs, and the best car ride buddy. Macie is incredibly sweet and loves giving kisses and accepting affection from anyone. As soon as you start petting the top of her head, she immediately inches closer to you and just melts. Truly, she is the SWEETEST. She is estimated to be 10 years old, but she says she doesn't feel a day over 6. She is still active and has plenty of energy. Macie enjoys long walks and outings around town. This girl is ALL beagle, meaning she can be vocal and likes to howl to let you know she is excited to see you, sad to see you go, found a smell she really likes, or wants to go outside. As a result, Macie is NOT a candidate for apartment living. She would be the perfect addition to a quiet-ish home where she would get to spend a lot of time with her people. Overall she is an easygoing girl with lots of love to give and many years left of sniffing to do!

Hi! My name is Ludovich. (Luda for short.) If you are looking for an ideal companion, then look no further cause here I am! I am already housebroken, crate trained, know sit, shake, and even know I am not supposed to jump on you or your furniture without your permission! I enjoy snuggling with you if you will let me, and like a good romp in a fenced-in backyard. My favorite thing is being outside and I can be a tadstubborn when it's time to come in. My foster mom thinks I might have accidentally escaped from my people since I was caught chasing a deer. Since my prior owner could not be found, I find myself in need of a new home. My only requirement is a home with no small animals, (cats, rabbits, small dogs, chickens, etc.,) because though I am well trained and super laid back, I do have a high prey drive. If you are looking for a new friend who will not require much training, just a bit of time to understand your expectations, I would love to meet you! And hey, I am even neutered so I can go home with you right away! If you are interested in meeting me too, please contact the shelter so they can get you in touch with my foster mom.
