Currently 16.1 lbs, she’s expected to grow to 25-30 lbs—perfect for a medium-sized companion. Pasha is a cuddly, well-mannered pup who sleeps in her crate, doesn’t bite, and only barks at the doorbell. She has a moderate energy level, loves her two daily walks, and enjoys socializing with dogs at the park. Her favorite toys include balls, bones, and bully sticks. A loyal shadow at home, Pasha thrives on companionship and is great on car rides. While a yard is a bonus, daily walks keep her happy. Sadly he’s one of the dogs abandoned when a rescue in LA closed and has been living at a boarding facility for much too long! Meet Lester and Stitch! Found abandoned in a cardboard box along with their three siblings, these eight month old pups are destined to be lifelong, loyal companions. Beautiful, brindle coloring on what we guess to be Labrador mixes. These beauties will grow to be between fifty to sixty-five pounds. Leash trained, they come with knowledge of basic commands and are eager to learn more for the appropriate treat. Lester is the more active of the two and will be an avid hiker. Stitch loves his walks as well, but is just as happy as a couch potato. Due to wonderful dispositions, they can be adopted together or will adjust well in separate, loving homes.

PonyBoy is just as special as his Outsiders namesake—one of a kind, full of heart, and impossible not to love. This 6-year-old, 38-pound Labradoodle looks like a little bear and has a personality to match. He was rehomed when his owner needed surgery with a long recovery and wanted to make sure he got the love and attention he deserves. PonyBoy is a total sweetheart. He loves his people (especially his foster dad), walks nicely on a leash, and gets along well with his doggie foster siblings. He’s also obsessed with toys. PonyBoy does have epilepsy, which is managed with medication, but he’d do best in a home where someone is around a lot to keep an eye on him. *PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org * Drake is loving life in his foster home, but now it’s time for him to find his furever family… We rescued Drake back in 2020. He is a 7 year old pup now and we guess he is a labradoodle mix. He was adopted a few years ago but recently, instead of contacting us to surrender the Drake back to us when they were unable to keep him, the adopter brought him to the shelter. Not only did they bring him to the shelter, they told the shelter to EUTHANIZE HIM!! Why? Because he is reactive/ doesn’t get along with small dogs, something they knew when they adopted him. Thankfully we were notified and able to get him back into our care quickly. He has been doing so well in foster and deserves to finally find the right people. Drake is a big boy (100+ pounds, but does need to lose some weight) and loves cuddles. He greatly enjoys long walks and car rides. He is super smart and food motivated. Drake is a go with the flow dude who just wants people to love. He would be best as the only animal in the home and with people committed to managing his reactivity. He is very easy to redirect with treats and will thrive with the right people. Drake is currently being fostered in Santa Monica, California area but can be adopted anywhere as long as you can come to SoCal and drive home. *PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org . Bruno is our very adorable and handsome 7 month old, Labrador mix who is about 25lbs. Some say he might have a touch of Beagle in him, but whatever mix he is...he's PERFECTION! By the way he is growing, we believe Bruno might get up to 40-50lbs. He came to us when an independent rescuer we work with reached out to us about a dog that was dumped out a car window in front of a Walmart. We were asked if we could take him and we said yes! Bruno is happy, fun, sweet, and so loving! Wherever he goes...heads turn! He loves other dogs and definitely needs another young and playful pup in the home. He cannot be an "only" dog. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal along with a safe and secure backyard to run around and play in. Bruno had a rough beginning to his young life, so we want to find him the absolute most perfect forever home out there! Bruno is microchipped, vaccinated, and will be neutered soon.
