Story
Pretzel is 2 years old. He is a super smart, loving dog. I taught him sit, stay, lay down, roll over, and up up (walks on 2 legs) all at home. He loves attention, and needs someone who will give it to him. Although when he doesn’t get it he’s fine just laying around, staying busy with elk/deer antlers or a toy. He goes to daycare and absolutely loves it! Hasn’t encountered another dog he doesn’t instantly love. You must have a yard- this is part of the reason we need to re-home him. I’ve recently started a business and my other half has a job that requires odd hours of work, also while one kid is in online school and a 3 month old. There’s not enough time in the day for pretzel, unfortunately. He is crate trained and has never had an accident in the house. He still has a lot of energy, especially towards new people (friendly energy) Loves kids He is 48lbs, labradoodle, we think golden as well He comes with a furniture crate and regular crate, toys, food, harnesses, leashes

Please contact Jim at 410-441-0866 (jim@fur-everpaws.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Elkton, MD. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 410-920-3166 (text or call) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 August 19, 2024, 8:52 am

Story
ABOUT GOLDIE As her name would suggest, this lady has a heart of gold! Our sweet Goldie girl is a 2 year old yellow lab mix with a typical goofball lab personality! Goldie came to HAP from a high-intake shelter partner when they no longer had space for her. Despite being in the shelter, nothing could take the smile off her face! Goldie is a complete and total mush with people, frequently tossing her back end into you for booty scratches. While she may love people, there's one thing she loves even more...toys! Whether she's playing with you or tossing a bone for herself, this girl loves toys! She has the most dramatic play bows and the fanciest of prances we've seen. When she's feeling extra excited, she will talk back to you and serve up some (hilarious) sass! **Goldie can get overstimulated by children and would do best in a home with adults only. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
