The transformation of Spencer to Scribbles. Spencer- a 2 year old Doddle in middle Georgia. He came as a stray, muddy and matted. Unneutered and under socialized. He was unsure of people, leashes and very hand shy. He probably spent most of those two years living outside possibly used for breeding. If he stayed in middle Georgia he would probably be adopted out unaltered to only continue to make more money for yet another person trying to make a quick buck on the doddle craze. The shelter reached out and even drove a few hours to meet us to get Spencer into rescue. we said yes to the mess! The shelter already had him groomed. He was so matted they did not want to see him suffer. He is new to leash walking, living in a home and a gentle loving touch. He is still a little reserved but coming around nicely. A few “good boys” along the way help. Like most outside dogs, he trusts the other dogs and follows their lead, often looking towards them for guidance. He would do best with another dog in the home to show him the ropes. He is very food and treat motivated coming in a little skinny and in need of a good deworming. A few treats in the crate and he goes right in. He no longer tenses up when you pet him, he thrives with positive praises and has learned his routines quickly. He is ALMOST your typical happy crazy doodle. So he earned the name Scribbles a fun name for a fun dog. He will need a family that is willing to put some work into socializing him and training with lots of positive reinforcement. A family that understands that he will need grooming every 4-6 weeks for life and for a large size doodle, that doesn’t come cheap. A family that is not allergic to dogs because we all know that doodles may be lower shedding but that doesn’t not make them no allergy. People are STILL allergic to to doodles. Doddles are naturally higher energy dogs. They need that release of energy- long walks and scheduled playtime. The Poodle in them craves discipline and training. Doodles are not for everyone. Scribbles is 2 years old, weighs about 40 lbs but should be closer to 50. He is working on crate training, house training and leash walking skills. I am so sad to have to post this. Poppy is a sweet 9month old Labradoodle mix. She's a girl with lots of energy. I got Poppy when she was 6 weeks of age. I have two small boys who are terrified of her, STILL. They prefer smaller dogs but are not really interested in pets, at all! She has not had any medical issues or concerns. She is up to date on her vaccines, also spayed. She is a fast learner, loves to please. She is very smart. This was my first time ever raising a puppy. I have had a dog previously for 13 years, adopted her when she was 1 years old. The puppy stage has not been my favorite as this has been new to me. Poppy is my happy place, she makes my day brighter. I do not think it is fair to keep her since my boys are terrified of her. I am not able to fully give her what she truly needs. She would benefit from a backyard or a very active parent, unfortunately I can not provide that. I hope she finds a forever home to someone who's day will be brightened by her presence.

Georgia is very loving, loyal and friendly. She is very high energy and desires an active owner who can give her lots of time and attention. Sadly I am working some days up to 12 hours a day and am not able to give her the attention or time she needs and deserves. This has been a very difficult decision I have changed my mind multiple times because I love her so much but it is what is best for her. She knows the commands of sit, and paw (shake). Toby is very smart, friendly, & energetic. The best type of home is a family that is active & wants to include their dog in most of their lives. He loves to play fetch, loves water, & LOVES to be part of whatever you are doing & will follow you everywhere. Car rides, hiking, cuddling; YES! A house with a fenced in yard is preferred. He needs space to run & daily play/walks. He has not been around cats & will chase squirrels/birds if given the chance. He is a big baby & not aware of his size so he needs practice being calm around small dogs & small children. He is crate & house trained. Toby is a 2nd generation labradoodle. His coat is thick & curly, completely non-shedding. He has a thick, curly coat so owner should be prepared for regular brushing & professional grooming expenses. He does well at groomer. Toby needs a home that will be able to give him lots of attention, playtime, & cuddles. He is happy to just be in your world!
