Story
Powehi (Po for short) was rescued from an awful situation. He was found locked away in an abandoned garage with no food or water. The floor was covered in urine and feces, and the garage was infested with mice. Despite everything he's been through, he remains a resilient and sweet boy. He loves love and considers himself a lap dog. He gets along well with other dogs, though he does need introduced slowly as he's very shy. That being said, he absolutely cannot be in a home with any cats or small animals. Based on how we found him, he likely had to live off the mice he was trapped in the garage with. As a result, he has a very strong prey drive and will lash out/try to attack them. Cats and small animals aside, Po remains a gentle and loving dog who deserves a great home. Po comes with lifetime support from our family, including us taking him back if his family can no longer care for him. I want Po to thrive and I know that is possible in the right home.
