Story
Beau is a three-year-old chocolate Labradoodle with a chocolate lab as his dad and a white standard poodle as his mom! He’s from Ohio, where he was bred on a farm! It is with a sad and heavy heart that we’ve come to the decision to rehome our dog. For the past 3 years he’s been a loyal companion but we have not been able to hold up our end of the bargain lately. With the arrival of our new baby and the new roles we both play at work, we simply don’t have the compactly to give Beau a full and healthy life when it comes to being active! Beau deserves space to run and play daily and we haven’t been able to give him that in a while. Beau is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle and lay down and sleep, but also has an energetic side and loves to run and play! He’s really sweet with babies!!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/genericYou can learn about the adoption process by visiting:  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:  Pup Leo (LEO0824SOPMD)Estimated Breed:  LabradoodleApproximate Age:  6-7 monthsApproximate Weight:  45 LBS Currently Living at:  Boarding   Adoption Fee:  $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Attention Doodle lovers... meet Pup Leo! Leo was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter in Georgia by a family who bought him from a breeder and just left him outside in a crate. Lucky Leo has been given a second chance at life and is on the hunt for a loving forever home. Could that be with you? Despite his rough start to life, Leo is SUPER sweet and good natured. He loves attention from his human and canine friends alike. At Leo's young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization too. Leo will make a wonderful addition to an active home. Adopt Leo and he will be your best friend for years to come! ‍ Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  .
