Story
I rescued Kota from the shelter due to the connection felt in the shelter. On his sheet, he had a “take it easy, I get scared easily” notification, but as soon as we entered the fear went away. He lifted his paw and embraced us with the perfect balance of affection and energy. He is a great family dog, and loves cuddles, attention, and being active. Rehoming due to busy work schedule and rehoming fee includes kennel, leash, collar, harness. Any questions, let me know.

Story
Beautiful smart girl. Beginning crate training and house training. Rehoming since I don’t have the time to dedicate to take care of a puppy and train her like she deserves. I feel horrible because she’s such a sweet puppy with a great temperament. She’s excellent with children and well socialized. Rides good in a car. I hate that I can’t keep her but she deserves the best. She will come with crate, bed, toys, and bowls. Australian Labradoodle 11 weeks old UTD on vaccinations for her age. Expected adult weight is 25lbs, she weighs 10lbs now and parents are 25lbs and 30lbs.

Story
Marie is a 6 yr old 11 lbs Poodle Mix.  She has had a rough start in life, but is a very sweet girl given time.  Marie is crate trained and house trained including pee pad trained.  Marie would do best as an only dog due to her need for attention and reassurance.  She has come from an abusive past, so slow introductions and letting her approach you to learn to trust and seek affection will be needed.  Marie wants so much to be loved and would make a great companion dog. If you are interested in adopting Marie, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!August 19, 2024, 11:27 am

Story
Spinner is a lab weimaraner mix that is 1 year old and 70 pounds. We rescued Spinner on his last day, and he has blossomed! This now 70 pound young Lab / Weimaraner mix loves to play and is goofy and sociable. He is crate and housetrained.  He knows several commands such as sit, shake and lay down.  He is good w/ all dogs provided he gets a slow and proper introduction.  He seems to be impartial to cats.  Spinner is very stubborn so he will need a strong pack leader in his new home.  He is good with kids, but with his clumsy goofball self, he would likely knock over small children, so we suggest kids 10 year old and up.  He sheds very little so you won't have to vacuum every day!  Spinner is a lover and enjoys sitting on the couch and cuddling with his people! He is such a happy good natured boy! If you are interested in Spinner, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. Winter is 2 years old and 22 lbs. Sweet Winter is a beautiful little girl! Just look at those puppy eyes and ever-wagging tail, how can anyone resist? She is laid back but still playful, making her just the perfect family pet. She loves everyone and has never met a stranger. If she wasn't perfect enough yet, she is also totally house-trained and leash trained! She would make the best side-kick for any family since she loves being around everyone all the time. Winter would love to go for walks on the greenway, play at the dog park, and also be your #1 snuggle buddy! She can't wait to find her family and hopes that will be you!
