Story
Hello!  My name is Max!  I am an Aussie Doodle!  I am house trained.  I know sit and how to give paw!  I am around 2 years old.  I am very energetic and love to play tug of war.  I get along great with cats even though they might not like me very much.  I get overwhelmed in social situations where there are a lot of people.  I love going for walks but do not like riding in the car.  I am good with and people but he need time to get to know them before I feel completely comfortable.  I am not good with children.  I am around 90lbs and will need a big yard to run in.  I am a great household protector.  I will need a large fenced in yard because I do not do well on lead.  I do not do well with other dogs.  I am a herding dog so I do like to herd.  I love to play, but sometimes I don’t know when it is time to stop.  I would do well in a quiet neighborhood where there are not a lot of noises because I can get stressed out and start barking and it can be hard to calm him down.  I am fine being left home alone if need be and I do not chew on anything or have accidents. ##1607001##

Story
Hello! I am Ceaser! I am an older guy, goofy and sweet, looking for a forever home. I was surrendered after my owner`s landlord wouldn`t allow me to live with them. I have lived with teens before and did well, but would need to meet any children I may interact with to see how we get along. I am full of energy and adventure! I love to go on walks and meet new people. I`m not the biggest fan of other dogs; I can see them on my daily walks and mind my business, I just don`t want to live with any. Cats are also not on my friend list, but people are always my faves! If you have snacks I will certainly want to try them. If you love labs and have a soft spot for an older fella like me, come meet me today!*** I am currently in a foster home, if you would like to meet me, please call to schedule an appointment***If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $95.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20)Leash and collar included.

Story
Hello! I am Rufus! I am quite the guy looking for his forever family! I am crate trained, love to ride in the car, have lived with two adult dogs and had fun playing with them. I love people - hasn`t been a person I didn`t like. Although I have been told to stop chasing the cat - I find it rather fun. Rain or snow, bring it on, I love playing outside in either. I also like to carry things -I am learning to pick up car keys and bring them back. Apparently, I get this thing called the `zoomies` every night right before bed - loads of fun just running around. I will need a home that wants to work with me because my brain and well as my body needs to work. Puppy classes would be awesome! It would be wonderful if my new home had a fenced in yard where I could run around a bit but it is not a deal breaker - more walks for me!I am still working on that thing they call housebreaking - put I am getting the hang of it. Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
