Story
Paloma is the sweetest most loving lab mix. She is looking for a loving home at no fault of her own. Paloma was found on a highway almost run over. After finding her owner they surrendered her. She is the most loving mellow 3 1/2 lab. She loves her tummy rubs and to be near anyone who will pet her and give her attention. Palomas fav thing to do is lay her head on your lap. She loves to go for walks.

Story
Looking for a furry BFF? Bella Noel is here for you! Bella Noel is an easy doodle to love, as she exudes peace and joy. She’s an Olympic class snuggler and will make you laugh every day. Her foster mom says she’s the easiest dog she’s ever taken care of: Affectionate and calm, she’s happy to nap on the couch or lie quietly by your desk while you work. A leisurely sniff walk, short game of fetch, or a roll in the grass is all the outside time she needs to be a happy pup. She hasn’t taken up swimming yet, but she adores a splash session with the garden hose. Fair warning: She wants to play any time you water your plants. Bella Noel appreciates dogs and kids who match her calm energy. She loves playing with her foster fur-cousin, though she could also be content as an only dog. Above all, Bella Noel is adaptable and easy-going. Her ideal home will be calm, with a fairly dependable routine. Once she settles in, she will become a central part of your family. She’s smart and easy to train, because she simply wants to please her person. Could that be you? BellaNoel’s adoption fee is $400. She is HW negative, current on all HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like BellaNoel a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour drive of the foster’s home, please click on the Adoption Application button here: https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/bella-noel and select BELLA NOEL from the drop-down menu on the application form.

Story
Meadow is a gorgeous LARGE doodle!! She is approximately 2 years old, fully vetted, HW neg and microchipped. Meadow is fearful of SOME men, so she needs someone with patience, as we believe she was abused, in her previous home. She absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs, crate trained, knows basic commands, though still has high puppy energy, at times. Meadow can act timid/shy when meeting new people, though once she knows you, she will be your best friend! She's a strong girl, who needs some work on a leash. We prefer Meadow to go to a home with older children, due to her size (100 lbs), and the possibility of her getting excited and jumping on a small child. If interested in Meadow, please feel free to fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
** COURTESY POST ** ** This animal is NOT at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, so please do not inquire with them ** ** For information contact  Nyasia; tornado01.puckish@icloud.com ; 469-238-9267  ** Binny is 2 years and 5 months old; his birthday is August 5, 2021. He is medium to large size and extremely playful. He is a lab so he does shed a good amount and he is reactive but a quick learner. Binny is very good at learning new and different commands like sit, lay down, give me paw and rollover. Super playful and attached to my senior dog and loves chew toys but only the tougher ones survive. He is neutered and not microchipped. He recently received all necessary vaccines and won’t need any until December 2024. He’s not yet completely used to or trained for dog parks and play with new dogs. He takes walks occasionally but still has not gotten used to other passing people, dogs, birds, loud noises etc. I need to rehome Binny because  I thought after I was done with school I would have more time to do things he needs like walks and play, but I’ve been unemployed for a time and found it hard to keep up with expenses. Now starting a new job I have a full schedule. Being that I work away from home he has become attached to my senior dog and mom. I find it difficult to gain his attention and focus half the time because of it. He recently began to show aggression toward my senior dog though over food, toys, slippers and blankets. He also bit me while I tried removing a plastic eyeball from his Christmas teddy out of his mouth and that is the one and only time he’s ever done anything like that. He has never had any behavior issues in the past, and does generally well with bath time and teeth brushing. He’s always been reactive to things like birds, brooms, balloons, other dogs, people, but never aggressive. I just believe he needs to be in a home with someone who has more time to spend with him doing things he likes. I believe he often gets bored and I’m only home 3 hours before bed time now. He is a really good dog, but needs a better home for him. For any questions, I can be reached at 469-238-9267. August 19, 2024, 6:30 pm

Story
** COURTESY POST ** ** This animal is NOT at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, so please do not inquire with them ** ** For information contact Heaven Lee; heavenlj33@gmail.com  ** This is Sandy.    He is housebroken, leash trained  He's neutered  He's very active, loves to go on runs and likes to play  Great with kids, loves kids actually  Great with cats, even plays with mine  Great with other dogs. Just gets excited at first and might bark but it's an excited back and then he wiggles a bunch and wants to play  Not an escape artist at all. One time the leash accidently came unclipped and he came back over to us  I'm needing to rehome him because we both work outside of the home for 8 hours a day plus commute, he's in his kennel for so many hours. He deserves to have room to play and a family who can give him more than we can. We are also expecting a baby and I know he'll get even less exercise because we'll be busy with a newborn. August 19, 2024, 6:30 pm
