Story
Lady is truly an awesome dog. We got her as a puppy a little over 3 years ago, her mom was lab/german shepherd and dad is a standard poodle. She has grown with our children however our middle child has allergies that have worsened and has had a cough for 5 months that we have directly related to our sweet dog. Her birthday is 7/3 and she was a big 84 pound(last vet check was in October) goofball who knows no personal space. She’s super smart, house trained, and knows basic commands. She’s awesome with kids, we have 3 ranging from 1-8, good with other dogs once she gets used to them, she’s skittish but tries to act tough. Overall she really is a perfect dog and we’ll miss her so much! Everything she has can go to her new prospective home, her very luxurious 48” kennel, neater feeder, collar/leash, any food/treats, toys, memory foam dog bed, literally all of it! Meet Ivy! This gorgeous girl is around 1-2 years old. We are unsure what she is mixed with, but we are guessing she has some husky in her due to her antics. She is such a sweet girl and SUPER energetic. She would love a family that goes to the lake, river or has a pool, she is a MAJOR water dog. She is looking for a super active family that can take her on long walks and plenty of adventures. She has done well with dogs she has met here but meet and greets are required. She would do well with children as long as she does get her energy out just due to the jumping around as she can be a wrecking ball at times. If interested in Ivy, the shelter is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm pending on if staff is in the building. You can also call the shelter at 804-520-9397 ext. 5 to set up an appointment!

Meet Butterbean!! This sweet boy is a 5–6-month-old lab mix and is looking for a new home! Butterbean loves absolutely everyone and everything. He is a cute little jumping bean when he gets his zoomies. He loves toys and loves to run and play, so a yard would be ideal for him! He is up to date on everything expect for his neuter!
