Story
Hello there, my name is Maverick. I enjoy long walks on the beach and sculpting. I am a honest dog with lots of love and affection to give to anyone who is willing to give me the same. I am a Capricorn, and my favorite color is blue. Now that you’ve heard from Mav, We have had him for 2 years now and he has been a great addition to our family, very loving and kind. He has been very gentle to us. We hate we need to rehome maverick but he will make an incredible addition to your family. But our preferred plan is to have him fostered until I get stationed at my next location around march. He is so fun and can be outgoing when he wants! He has been great at dog parks or with friends dogs who have visited He is gentle, sweet, and well mannered. He is house broke and crate trained and will remain as calm or hyper as you are. If we were able to keep him we would and he will make such an incredible member of your family

Story
Scruffy is a very sweet Goldendoodle/Lab mix. (His brother, Ace, is listed here, too. They can be adopted separately or possibly together!) My sister has recently relocated after a divorce, and due to this and other hardships, is not currently able to give the care that he needs. He does need some training, but is a very sweet dog and has been around two other large dogs and one small terrier. He is great with kids and is coming from a home with a 12 year old boy. Originally, he spent time indoors and outdoors 50/50, but for the last two months, after moving, he has been outside the whole time, so he might need a refresher about the indoor rules. He is very affectionate, curious, and loves to play and chase the ball in the backyard. He would benefit from a fenced in area for some outdoor play, and a home with other dogs and/or kids would be preferred. Due to the circumstances, we are hoping to find a loving home asap. Please reach out with any questions!

My sister has recently relocated after a divorce, and due to some hardships, is not able to give the care that he needs. He does need some training, but is a very sweet dog and has been around two other large dogs and one small schnoodle. He is great with kids and is coming from a home with a 12 year old boy. Originally, he spent time indoors and outdoors 50/50, but for the last two months, after moving, he has been outside the whole time, so he might need a refresher about indoor rules. He is high energy at first, and loves to chase the ball in the backyard, but soon calms down and wants to be near you. He's very affectionate and will lean in to snuggle. Kids would love him! Due to the circumstances, we are looking to find a loving home asap. Please reach out or call with any questions not addressed here. Happy to talk more.

Story
Nilla is the sweetest girl. Nilla is one of our bottle raised puppies who are all about being loved and snuggled. She is very smart and taking to her leash training and "rules" vccccccc cccccvv as a bigger puppy has to learn very well. Nilla is one of our bottle raised babies we took in back in December. Their mother was unfortunately hit and killed by a car when the puppies were only about a week old. 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 Non-profit rescue organization. All of our animals come fully vetted which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter as well as Heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We can also arrange transportation to your location within 500 miles of our sanctuary in Hayden, Alabama if necessary. The additional charge of $35 (health certificate required for out of state travel) plus a .50 cents per mile charge to your location. This will be calculated on an individual basis should you need this option and you will be given the total prior to finalization of the adoption process. There is a Non-Refundable $100.00 deposit that will be required in order to secure a place on a transport. The $100.00 deposit will be deducted from the balance owed at the time of the adoption. Story
Caramel is such a sweet beautiful unique little girl. She wants to be a lap baby forever. She was bottle raised along with her siblings. Their mother was a stray that was hit and killed unfortunately when her puppies were only about a week old. We found them in a local man's barn and began their life with us. They are very healthy and robust! Caramel is very smart and learns very fast with regards to puppy lessons.

Story
Aspen is another one of our bottle fed babies when their mother was hit by a car and killed back in December. He is big goofball and thinks he can be a lap baby for sure! Great kid's dog (not small toddlers) due to his size and energy level. Loves toys and wrestling. He needs a fenced yard to romp and play in.
