Story
Shadow is a young boy who will thrive best with having a positive outlet for his energy. He has a happy personality and is oh so wiggly! He is looking forward to enjoying all things the great outdoors has to offer. He would make a great adventure buddy and loves to go bye bye from time to time. Though he does love to play, he enjoys a good snuggle sesh too. Shadow was typically on his best behavior in his previous home, his only flaw noted was that he was a counter surfer when no one was looking! Shadow is potty trained and will sit at the door when he needs to go potty. He can be excitable on walks, but takes to redirection well, especially when treats are involved! Shadow also knows the cues “sit”, “stay”, “down”, “off”, “come”, “leave it”, “heel” and “okay”. He is a smart boy who not only appreciates keeping his body active but also his brain! He loves to learn, and we could see him being great at dog puzzles! Shadow has not been around cats, and we do suspect that he may chase them. Shadow was a family dog prior to being surrendered and loves to spend time with his people children. Previous owners did not mention how Shadow does with other dogs, but he has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! Shadow was only recently surrendered to the shelter but is already beginning to become stressed. Please keep in mind that Shadow will need time to adapt to his new home and will be a very happy boy when welcomed into a new home!

Story
We got Nico in March of 2025 from the Animal Control Center off Elmore. He’s a skiddish and gentle dog, love walks and pets. Gets frightened by sudden movements and loud noises due to his past home. He was doing great until recently he’s shown more anxiety than we can keep up with. Sudden changes lately have made him hyperactive or potty regressed. He’s never been the type to be aggressive or anything, always been sweet and gentle. In the new home I’m just looking for someone who can help him with going potty often and making sure he’s fed properly as he does have a sensitive stomach.
