Story
Meet Aaron, a 4-year-old spayed female Labrador Husky mix with a striking black-and-white coat, weighing 22kg. She’s an affectionate and social girl who loves people—whether she knows them or not! She eagerly approaches for pets and enjoys physical affection from both men and women. Aaron spent seven months in a foster home with a 9-year-old child, and while they developed a close bond (even snuggling in bed together) Once she feels secure, she’s incredibly gentle and patient. She’s comfortable being picked up and will roll over to show her belly once she trusts you. When it comes to other dogs, Aaron is polite and well-mannered, waiting patiently if another dog wants to sniff her. She’s more comfortable with dogs her size or smaller, as large, boisterous dogs can make her a bit nervous. She’s happy to engage in light play with smaller dogs but prefers to avoid high-energy dogs that play rough or bark excessively—she’ll simply give a warning growl and walk away. Though she coexists well with other dogs, she prefers human companionship the most. Aaron has not lived with cats, but she has shown some interest in chasing stray cats outside. However, she responds well to human intervention and will stop when called. With a medium energy level, Aaron enjoys outdoor activities but also knows how to relax afterward. She loves her walks and has plenty of experience on a leash. While she might pull a bit when excited, she’s easy to manage and generally follows her handler’s lead. She enjoys taking her time to sniff around, so expect a few stops along the way! She is fully outdoor potty trained and was walked daily in her foster home. Aaron is a quiet, well-mannered girl who doesn’t guard food and rarely barks. She’s calm in a kennel and enjoys resting in peaceful surroundings. She responds well to being called, and even young children can safely give her treats—she’ll wait patiently and take them gently. Even when meeting new people, she never barks or acts shy; instead, she happily approaches for pets and attention. Originally rescued from a city shelter, Aaron is also the mother of Bernie, a pup who has since found a forever home in Canada. Now, it’s her turn to find a loving family where she can be cherished for the sweet and gentle companion she is! Story
Quick Facts • Name: Mamba• Age: 2 years old• Gender: Male• Neutered: Yes• Breed: Labrador mix• Colour: Black• Weight: 22kg   All About MeHello guys. I’m Mamba. I am a 2 year old Labrador mix girl, looking for my forever home. I am covered in a sleek black coat, which really makes me stand out. I might seem a bit shy at first but give me some time. Once I get to know you, I will let you pet me and rub my belly. By the way, if you have some treats with you, that will make things little easier because I really like to eat!   I have not had many adventures in the outside world and loud noises can be a bit overwhelming for me. But no worries. I am currently getting my training, and I hope it gets better. With time and patience, I will learn to get less sensitive to noises. During walks, I may pull my leash a bit due to excitement, but I am generally responsive to my human’s guidance. After a good walk, I settle down nicely on a couch or in my crate. Speaking of which, I am a well-behaved girl even inside my crate.   I usually get along with other furry friends whether they are about my size or smaller than me. The heart is what really matters! If I find them to be my friends, I will get along well. If someone tries to challenge me, I will step back and walk away. Although I usually get along with other friends, I get little overwhelmed when they become too energetic.   Regarding my potty habits, I use both indoors and outdoors. Whether you live in a high-rise or low-rise, you will not need to worry about it as I have got it all covered. Cats? I do not mind them, but I focus on my humans instead. I do not guard my food against humans and other furry friends. Despite my young age, my energy level is not very high, but I still enjoy my outdoor adventures and activities. Visiting a dog park is also a great idea as I can run freely.   Special Notes I may seem to be a bit shy in the beginning. But once my initial shyness fades away, I am confident that I will be a perfect canine friend who will warm your heart with joy and happiness.
