Story
8 year old Yesenia is a lab x boxer looking for a home. Yesenia was surviving when kind strangers might feed her, but had to be a strong resilient girl. They suspect she may have been used for breeding and was subjected to having her tail docked. When they no longer wanted her they just left her to fend for herself. Yesenia reads people well and likes to be comforted by them. Yesenia prefers male dogs and isn’t a fan of cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, weighing a perfect 45 lbs. If you think you might be Yesenia’s second chance as a foster or adopter, she’d love to hear from you by emailing us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or going direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw. EHS volunteer comment: "Pony is an enthusiastic, happy girl, full of youthful energy. She absolutely loves her walks and greets me with a bouncy jump of excitement when I approach her kennel. She enjoys fetch, kicking up her heels, and running zoomies in an enclosed fenced area. Outdoor fun is her love language. She is a dog that is full of life and adventure. She seems very treat motivated and her house training is wonderful."This bubbly, friendly girl is ready to bring a whole lot of joy into your life. She absolutely loves being around people and is always up for some fun-especially if it involves fetch (one of her favorites!).Pony already knows "sit" and "down," and she's excited to keep learning with positive reinforcement training. She's smart, motivated, and would thrive with a family that's ready to keep her brain and body busy.If you're looking for a playful, loving companion who's eager to grow with you, Pony might just be your perfect match. Story
Hello there, I`m Tango. I`m as sweet as sugar and love to cuddle. My playful spirit will fill your home with joy and laughter. I`m friendly with everyone I meet, and my gentle nature makes me a perfect companion for both kids and adults. My energy knows no bounds, and I love to spend it playing games or going for walks. But don`t worry, I`m very passive and I know when it`s time to relax. I`m not just a pet, I`m a friend, a confidante, a source of unconditional love. Adopting me would mean a lifetime of companionship and loyalty. I promise, I`ll make every day brighter with my love and antics.I will need a high, secure fence as I can jump like a thoroughbred and just want to run like the wind!

Story
Meet Aaron, a 4-year-old spayed female Labrador Husky mix with a striking black-and-white coat, weighing 22kg. She’s an affectionate and social girl who loves people—whether she knows them or not! She eagerly approaches for pets and enjoys physical affection from both men and women. Aaron spent seven months in a foster home with a 9-year-old child, and while they developed a close bond (even snuggling in bed together) Once she feels secure, she’s incredibly gentle and patient. She’s comfortable being picked up and will roll over to show her belly once she trusts you. When it comes to other dogs, Aaron is polite and well-mannered, waiting patiently if another dog wants to sniff her. She’s more comfortable with dogs her size or smaller, as large, boisterous dogs can make her a bit nervous. She’s happy to engage in light play with smaller dogs but prefers to avoid high-energy dogs that play rough or bark excessively—she’ll simply give a warning growl and walk away. Though she coexists well with other dogs, she prefers human companionship the most. Aaron has not lived with cats, but she has shown some interest in chasing stray cats outside. However, she responds well to human intervention and will stop when called. With a medium energy level, Aaron enjoys outdoor activities but also knows how to relax afterward. She loves her walks and has plenty of experience on a leash. While she might pull a bit when excited, she’s easy to manage and generally follows her handler’s lead. She enjoys taking her time to sniff around, so expect a few stops along the way! She is fully outdoor potty trained and was walked daily in her foster home. Aaron is a quiet, well-mannered girl who doesn’t guard food and rarely barks. She’s calm in a kennel and enjoys resting in peaceful surroundings. She responds well to being called, and even young children can safely give her treats—she’ll wait patiently and take them gently. Even when meeting new people, she never barks or acts shy; instead, she happily approaches for pets and attention. Originally rescued from a city shelter, Aaron is also the mother of Bernie, a pup who has since found a forever home in Canada. Now, it’s her turn to find a loving family where she can be cherished for the sweet and gentle companion she is!
