Story
Teddy is a lab/boxer mix. He is 6 years old and has bursts of energy but most times he likes to play with toys and lay on the couch or in his bed. He feeds off energy so he needs to be with someone that does not have kids. He does not do well with other animals. Teddy is crate trained and some commands he follows. He is food driven so any other training he would do very well. He is very smart but also clumsy at times. He loves to go on walks and hikes but stay clear of other animals because he is very protective.

Story
I got Boomer about a year ago from my grandmother, who could no longer care for him properly. He's about 6 years old, very tame and does not get into trouble. He used to live with 2 other golden doodles until recently, and they got along great once they got used to each other. He grows very attached to people and other dogs fairly quickly. Our main issue is his anxiety, especially with separation. Was not an issue when there were other dogs around, but it is now just him and me since we moved, and he does not like being left alone. His biggest need is to have company. I want him to go somewhere where he won't be alone too regularly. Unfortunately that's just not something I'm capable of anymore with how my life has changed. He learns quickly and listens to commands well. Mostly just likes to lay around until you urge him to play. He likes to just be in the background. Perfect for someone who is work at home!

Dexter is a big goof who loves his people. He is calm inside the house and chooses to lay on the couch on his own, or more often than not, with you. He loves attention and wants nothing more that to be by your side when you're relaxing. Once he's off leash in the backyard, he loves to run around and play with the other dogs. He does need to be walked on a halti, but this will be included with the adoption.  Dexter is house trained and crate trained. He is not good with cats and would do best in a canine only home. He's not aggressive with the cats, but he does like to chase them causing the cats to avoid being around the other dogs and the family. They spend most of their time hiding from him. He doesn't chase the cats to be mean, he just gets excited and want to play with them and has never intentionally hurt them at all. However, being the big boy he is makes it a possibility. Dexter is a great dog--meet him today! Once Bogey is comfortable with you, he is just a big snuggle bear. Since he was rescued from the shelter, not much is known about history. He loves belly rubs, back scratches and, if you're on the couch, he is on your lap. He is good on a leash (sometimes gives a little tug), is house trained and sleeps in his crate at night on his own. He is a big goofy gentle giant. He just loves to bein your company, even if you are not doing anything. He is great with other dogs, even small ones, but he has no experience with cats or children. He is very food motivated, eats turkey/sweet potato kibble from Costco and he loves about anything for treats. However, he really loves ice cubes. Bogey needs an experienced owner. He is very skittish around new people at first and has a lot of energy, so he will require a bit of extra attention.  He has severe social anxiety and has shown to be apprehensive towards people. He has been working with behavior specialists and trainers who concluded his anxiety is due to fear rather than aggression. He has been going to social classes and individual sessions with a professional trainer twice a week, and Bogey is improving. He will benefit from continued training to help him work through his anxiety. Bogey is a great dog that just needs to find the right person to give him all he needs. Meet Bogey today! Story
Introducing Jack Frost, the spirited Husky mix bursting with energy and affection! At 2.5 years old, Frost is a bundle of joy who thrives on love and attention. He's a social butterfly, getting along with other large dogs. However, Frost would benefit from ongoing training to unleash his full potential and make him the confident and secure pup he deserves! Jack Frost is an outdoor enthusiast who adores car rides and would make an ideal running or hiking companion. Regular walks or runs are his idea of heaven! He's a powerhouse when it comes to playtime, he needs a home with ample space to run and play freely. Highly intelligent and quick to learn, Jack Frost relishes mentally stimulating activities and treats. Since he's a strong boy, he requires supervision around children and prefers a harness for walks. Jack Frost's playful nature sometimes leads to overexcitement and "playful jumps," requiring firm guidance from an alpha human to channel his competitive spirit positively. Although he's great with larger dogs and older children, Frost may need some patience and training around smaller animals. If you're seeking an energetic and loyal companion who's ready for adventure, Jack Frost could be your perfect match! ***Please reach out to Paula at spwheels1@gmail.com if you'd like to meet this special boy Jack Frost!

💪🥳Bentley Needs a Foster! 🫶Bentley is a 3-year-old lab mix who's dreaming of a warm, loving foster home to settle into this winter. With his playful energy, he loves nothing more than running in the yard, playing fetch, and having a fun tug-of-war match with his favorite people. He’s the perfect companion for crisp winter walks, enjoying the cool air while chasing after his favorite toys. While he might be a bit shy when meeting new faces, with slow introductions and a little patience, Bentley will warm up to you, rewarding your kindness with unwavering love, loyalty, and affection. He’s not suited for homes with small children, so a cozy, calm environment with older kids (16 and up) would be best. Bentley’s ideal winter wonderland would include a yard to stretch his legs, maybe some fun snow play, and another dog his size to romp around with. When he's not playing, he’ll happily snuggle up with you, especially if there’s a fun treat like dog ice cream or even some crunchy ice cubes! This winter, Bentley is hoping to find a family to share his big heart with—a place where he can watch the snow fall, chase birds in the yard, and enjoy peaceful moments by your side. Let's help Bentley find the home he deserves, where he can make lasting winter memories! #lcdrbentley🐾 Apply here to meet this remarkable guy🙋‍♂️: https://forms.gle/676xUcmeQi9kdjn96
