Story
Teddy is a 4-year-old male chocolate Lab mix available for adoption at CCHS. Teddy is a big, energetic, wiggly, goofy boy who would do best in a home without younger children. He's a smart boy and knows how to sit and "shake." At nearly 100lbs, he is a bit of a chonky boy, so we recommend that adopters work with him on losing a little weight. Come meet this cutie at CCHS!

Story
CAT AND DOG FRIENDLY! Sugar is just as her name describes, sweet as can be! Sugar was surrendered at the beginning of April when her owner was moving. Sugar is currently in a foster home who has this to say about her:She is the best girl. She doesn't know how to go potty outside yet. She is great and goes on puppy pads. Sugar is so good with my dog and cat, no issues at all and the best cuddle bug! She is seriously sooooo good. Sugar needs a family that can take her outsdie a lot and has a fenced in yard because she loves to be outside. I went and got her some chew toys because I learned she likes shoes, but as long as you keep them picked up, she's good. She isn't that old!"Overall Sugar is the best dog she just needs to learn how to potty outside, stay active and have plenty of toys around to keep her busy!

Story
Marsha is a wonderfully friendly playful dog. Marsha is not reactive in any way and the more love you give her the more she'll give back! She's potty trained! No accidents in the house, provided you walk her regularly and take her outside. Marsha loves toys, playing in the backyard and going for walks. She will cuddle with you and really enjoys getting belly rubs. She has a friendly demeanor and isn't excitable/reactive. Marsha LOVES playing fetch. It's a great way to burn off energy and she's getting better at "giving" the ball. She likes walks and getting to sniff everything. She is very treat motivated and would excel in doggy training (she is very bright and eager to please). She likes toys and getting to play on her own as well. Marsha is still young and acts like a puppy at times, being a bit mouthy and putting her paws on you. We are working on redirecting her mouthiness to toys and using "off" as a way to get off us and she also knows "sit" which helps. She needs walks, exercise and stimulation, otherwise, she'll get bored and maybe start eating things she isn't supposed to. We currently don't have any other animals in the house, but believe with her easy going nature she would work well with other animals. Marsha would do well in a home with a big fenced in backyard and owners who are committed to enriching her life. Someone who works from home would be ideal. She needs toys and walks and lots of love. Her fosters wouldn't recommend a family with toddlers, as she might bowl them over, but older kids would be fine. Marsha is a lovable, athletic puppy in a big body. She is friendly, eater to please and food motivated. She excels with training and adores walks, and playing fetch in the backyard. Given enough exercise, and mental stimulation she'll calmly lay down by your feet during the workday and then remind you when it is time to eat, go for a walk (potty) or she wants to play.
