Story
Heya, I'm Charlie, I am a sweet young lab who loves children, I was originally found three years as a stray at an elementary school playing on the playground with the kids. I love other dogs, and enjoy playing with them too. I was adopted 3 years ago and I thought I had found my forever home, but sadly I got in trouble for chasing the goats. There were kitties and chickens and cows and I didn't bother then, just the goats. I just wanted to be friends, but instead I got surrendered back to the shelter and I am looking for my forever home again. I am playful but also an old soul. I am gentle and kind and ready to go to my forever home. Is that yours?

Story
Hi, I am Noodle. I used to be terrified of all people, but my foster family has been helping me figure out that I don’t have to be so scared. In the last few months, I have gone from hiding and cowering in the bathroom to hanging with my foster pack around the house. My favorite thing to do is go to the dog park when it is not very busy and play chase with the other dogs in my foster family. Zoomies and playing with balls in the back yard are a close second. I’m really good at throwing and pouncing on balls! I also like walks around the neighborhood. My foster parents often argue over who gets to walk me because I’m so good on a leash and don’t pull like their other dogs (unless something scares me). When I’m done with my morning exercise, I pretty much chill all day. I really like snoozing next to my foster mom while she works. Treats rank pretty high on my list of good things as well, although I only recently got brave enough to take them directly from human hands and I’m still a little cautious about doing that. My foster mom is amazed at how far I’ve come, but says I still have some work to do. I still don’t love when people I know approach me and I only approach them when things are very calm and they have treats (I love provolone cheese!). My biggest challenge is that I’m quite fearful of strangers still. I try hard to avoid them. On the plus side though, I’m good at things like getting baths, brushed, nail trims, and pilled. I don’t bark much, am fine being loose in the house when nobody is home and at night, am good with the family cat and I’m also pretty good at going potty outside (I do need to be let out early in the morning or I might have an accident). Noodle is a great dog to have around. He will be such a wonderful companion for an adopter who is willing to take it slow and help him build confidence and learn to trust and enjoy life, and who isn’t too worried about a little nervous drool or sweaty feet. We learn more about Noodle’s likes and dislikes all the time as he comes out of his shell, but as of now, we know he likes dog park trips, walks, provolone cheese and other treats, and all kinds of toys (balls, stuffies, and nylon bones). He loves to chew his toys and is a strong chewer so does best with tough toys. He also likes being part of a pack with fun loving playful canine companions and will probably do best in a family with another dog he can pal around with. However, he doesn’t like aggressive dogs and very excited dogs make him nervous. He also doesn’t like startling noises or activities. Requirements to adopt Noodle: *Secure fenced yard *Calm, nuturing home environment *Dog ownership experience with excellent veterinary reference *Unbridled devotion to making this boy feel safe Noodle is a male Great Pyrenees/Yellow Lab/mix. He was born approximately 11-29-22 and weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. Story
My name is Brandy. I am very curious about my surroundings and like to explore. My curiosity peaks when you leave the area so I like to follow. I am so grateful and show this by giving kisses. I would like a place where I can lay in the grass because this is one of my favorite things. I also like belly rubs, to be held, and toys. I do good sleeping through the night. I’m currently being fostered with a big dog, two medium dogs and a cat. My best dog friend is about 11 months old, medium in size and we play A LOT! Sometimes the big dog scares me when he’s running full speed ahead. I’m very curious about the cat and trying to figure him out. I would do well in a house with other dogs or by myself to get all the attention. I would love a home with a fenced yard so I can get all my puppy energy out and play to my heart's content. A family with another playful dog would be the icing on the top! Brandy is a frowing Black Lab/Hound mix who was was born approximately 3-10-24. She is spayed, vaccinated appropriate for age, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $475 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. Story
Charlie is an 8-month-old neutered male, chocolate lab, around 60 pounds. He is UTD on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and on preventative for heartworm and flea/tick. Charlie was surrendered to some nice people who wanted to find a good option for him and came into our care. Charlie came to us very high-energy and high-strung. His foster mom has been working with him to help teach him manners and learn proper ways to expend his energy. He has been getting on well with the resident dogs, but his poor manners and energy level was received with some scolding from his foster pups to get him to calm the heck down. With Charlie being so high strung and in need of proper training, we prefer finding him a family/person that is willing to invest some time helping him be his best self. Due to his very large size now, he will grow much bigger, so we feel in order to set him up for success, he needs that training now. He is very loyal to his person so does have great recall and only wants to be a good dog for his person. His leash skills at this point leave much to be desired and his weight paired with his energy level requires a strong person holding onto him. He is extremely intelligent and has a lot of potential with the right person to teach him the rules. He is a sweet boy and is now getting along well with all his foster. He has not been cat tested as his foster does not have cats. He is doing well in a kennel and is housebroken. This handsome and energetic boy is available now for adoption so if you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application. His adoption fee is $375 to cover some of his vetting costs.
