Story
With the sweetest smile and the biggest heart, Beasley is looking for his forever home. This happy go lucky guy gets along great with other dogs. Beasley will do anything for a treat, although we think he could stand to skip a few snacks and go for a nice long walk instead! It would be extremely beneficial for Beasley if his new family is on the active side, as he is quite overweight, and needs some help getting back into tip top shape! We feel that he would be better suited for a family with older kids 12+ who are able to understand and respect boundaries. Beasley is neutered/microchipped and up to date with all his vaccines. Stop in today to meet this handsome guy.

Story
Harley weighs about 59 lbs. and was born about October 7, 2011 or July 3, 2010 depending on which vet paperwork you'd like to go by.  The later makes him 14 which I struggle with as he is in great shape and moves really well.  He is a very pretty boy with lovely soft eyes and expressions.  He is wonderful with all the other dogs and was living with a spicy, tiny, Chihuahua until his human lost his job, in the greater Buffalo area, and had to move out of the country and were unable to take the dogs with them.  Harley rides well in the car and will stick with you off-leash while tending to the garden.  Harley is an amazing snuggly buddy and will curl up next to you and sleep soundly throughout the night.  This sweet boy has a lot of love left in him and deserves to be pampered in his golden years.  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $  250.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.   Can't Adopt Me?  SPONSOR ME Look for the Link 'Special Instructions to Seller' if you want to note a particular pet Before you seek to adopt a pet from Joyful Rescues, please read our Pet Adoption page http://www.joyfulrescues.org/pet_adoption.html. Story
Martin was born around January 25, 2023, and is a big boy who might top out in the 85-90 pound range when done filling out.  Martin found himself in a basement in Niagara Falls, and when the owner could no longer care for him (the same one who told us he was a female) we stepped in to help.  He rode well in the car for the 2-hour ride to the rescue. Even resting his muzzle in our hands, as if he seemed to realize that life was about to get leaps and bounds better.  He will need work on a leash and is VERY strong. We have started the process, but you will likely have more work to do in that area.  He has done beautifully with the other dogs here and really enjoys romping and playing.  No small kids for this bouncy boy as they would likely get tipped over.  It's going to take some fine-tuning, but with patience and love, you're going to have an incredible new family member!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. 🌟 COURTESY POST 🌟 Meet Mini! 😍 This lovely one year old Lab is desperate for a home! We aren’t able to take her in right now but want to help as much as we can. Mini’s people previously weren’t up to the task of giving the time and attention needed for a Lab puppy, which is not her fault at all. Of course she needs plenty of activity and training like any Lab puppy! But her possibilities are endless with the right family. 💗 Mini loves people and has done well with the children she’s been around as well as other dogs, though she’d do best without cats. She’s been spayed and vaccinated already! Mini enjoys car rides and knows some basic commands but needs training with leash walks and being left home alone, though getting the exercise she needs should really help with her learning. Please message us if you’re interested in Mini so we can connect you with her people. If you can’t give her a home, please share! 🙏 Adoption apps can be filled out here: www.tiogacountycatproject.com/adoption

Sweet Betty ***Betty is heartworm positive and is presently going through treatment. She is still available for someone in the area, that could get her to upcoming vet appointment and follow the protocol during her treatment. Betty is gentle, sweet, timid, and cuddly. She would be best suited for a quiet home. She loves being outside enjoying the weather, so nice strolls around the block would be great. She is good with other dogs, cats are a no. Older, repsectful children are best for her. If interested, please submit an application. All current pets MUST be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason. www.pawzandpurrz.org RR335 Please Note: We are making changes to our Foster to Adopt process. Limited resources to follow up on pending adoptions and delays in processing payments is adding to our financial restrictions. Going forward we will collect payment when the dog is transferred to the potential new owner and will be held for an agreed upon trial time. Exceptions or extended trial times will be considered on a case by case basis and will depend upon the need or situation.
