Ebony is a 3 yr old affectionate, well trained and playful dog. She walks well on leash and loves to play both fetch and tug. She is food motivated and enjoys training. Our multidog household is a bit too much for her. If you have room in your home and heart for one special dog, she would be great for you.

This 8-year-old, 68-pound pup has experience living with cats and children.Hex doesn’t like to be left alone (which she’ll express by barking and chewing on her bed), so she’d do best in a house with another dog to keep her company while her parent(s) are out. She’ll sleep peacefully half the day as long as her family is near.Hex loves going for walks and jogs, but like many dogs can be a little reactive on the leash when she’s on her home turf. She’s working on it and with some more patient training should improve. She’s usually better about this in unfamiliar settings where she doesn’t feel territorial, so she’d love to join you on trips around town.Hex is the perfect Asheville companion, always up for a hike and a trip to the brewery after!Contact me today at 571-599-9093 or e.e.mcgrath@gmail.com to learn more about sweet Hex. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Story
Rosa is a sweetheart who loves to show affection. She often licks our kids' faces. She is a playful, smart, and loving dog who can fetch and run long distances, but she is equally happy snuggled up at home. She likes to sneak onto our kids' beds to sleep with them at night. She always has a tennis ball or a stick in her mouth inviting anyone to play with her. Our farm and house were destroyed by Hurricane Helene, and we are living in temporary housing and can no longer keep her. She is the best dog we've ever had. We hope to find the best possible home for her.

due to significant impacts from hurricane helene in late september, our yard is no longer safe or usable for our dog. with three young kids in a small home, he’s spending too much time indoors, which isn’t ideal for him. it’s become clear that we can’t provide the space and environment he deserves, and we want him to have a better quality of life where he can thrive.

Story
Hey there! I’m Luke, a male Lab Mix (at least that’s what I look like) eagerly searching for my forever home. Let me tell you a bit about myself. First and foremost, I’m a friendly and affectionate guy. I absolutely love being around people and showering them with love and cuddles. Playtime is my favorite, and I’m always up for some fun and games. Now, don’t let my playful nature fool you—I’m also incredibly smart. I pick up on things quickly and love learning new tricks and commands. You can count on me to impress you with my intelligence. I’m quite the curious pup too. I enjoy exploring my surroundings and discovering new things. Life is an adventure, and I’m always ready to embark on it with enthusiasm. When it comes to athleticism, I’m no slouch. I thrive on staying active and engaging in physical activities. Whether it’s going on adventurous walks or participating in playtime, I’ll be your loyal and energetic partner.
