Story
Meet Stelly! She is a beautiful, sweet, 8 month old lab puppy! Stelly is looking for a very special and loving home. She is good with all sizes of dogs and loves to play with her friends! She shares her toys nicely, and is also good with cats. She presently lives with 2 cats. Stelly is doing very well with potty training and walks easily on leash. Her foster mom says that Stelly makes her laugh everyday with her silliness. She has not spent much time in a crate, she is kept in a gated area of the house. She is a fun puppy who loves to play outside! Stelly is a smart girl who enjoys learning new things. She is easily motivated with affection or treats. Stelly was surrendered to our rescue with a few health problems. She has an unusual gait that has been evaluated by two veterinarians. It was determined that Stelly is a victim of very poor breeding and has inherited multiple joint issues. Details of her condition will be provided to interested adopters. Presently, Stelly is a very happy girl who loves life! Stelly will always need monitored for pain management to ensure she is comfortable, and it will be vital that she stays at an appropriate weight. She will need a home where she can stay fit and active within her limits. She is on medication to keep any pain at bay, and supplements to help keep her joints strong. She would greatly benefit from hydrotherapy - swimming! Stelly is up to date on vaccines and parasite preventatives, is spayed, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. Stelly is being fostered in Lancaster County and interested adopters must come to her foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household including existing dogs in the home. The second visit is to take her home. Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder. Story
Spend just a few minutes with Ripley, and he’ll steal your heart. That’s all it takes for him to open your mind and make you fall in love. There’s something truly special about his soul—his love for life is infectious, bringing a smile to everyone he meets. He’s a wonderful boy who deserves a home of his own. Ripley has been in his foster home since he was six months old, when he was still semi-feral. He and his three littermates were originally rescued after being found wandering in the woods down south. While his siblings have all been adopted, Ripley remains one of the three longest-waiting dogs in our care, still hoping for a forever home. Ripley’s foster mom worked tirelessly to earn his trust and help him adjust to new experiences. Before long, he was no longer considered semi-feral. By the end of 2019, he was just beginning to attend adoption events in search of his forever family when COVID hit, bringing those events to a sudden stop. As public adoption events resumed, Ripley found himself visiting the vet instead—frequently—seeking answers for sudden weight loss, impaired vision, and skin changes. Determined to help him, we spared no expense, sending him to top veterinary specialists in search of a diagnosis. The good news? X-rays and ultrasounds confirmed that Ripley was completely healthy. We discovered that Ripley had indeed lost his vision completely. After extensive testing, specialists determined that the damage to his optic nerves—likely caused by either an infection or a temporary autoimmune condition—was irreversible. Despite this, Ripley remains in excellent health and requires no medication. Ripley may be blind, but that doesn’t define him. He’s a well-mannered gentleman who walks beautifully on a leash, navigates his surroundings with ease, and loves to explore the world through scent. He’s an absolute sweetheart who thrives on attention—and he has a special soft spot for the ladies, preferring both female humans and canine companions over males. We would love for him to land a fenced in yard (for his safety and his love of being outside) Another canine companion (male or female) Adult only home for a more predictable environment (to live his best life) Some patience & understanding (he’ll bring the thank you kisses) Ripley is being fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania). www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Ripley’s bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=411128&name=Ripley One of the things we value most in our rescue is setting up adoptions for success. Don’t let Ripley’s special needs deter you—he’s an incredible dog worth taking a chance on. If you welcome him into your home, we’ll be here to support you every step of the way, ensuring a smooth transition. #mostlymuttzrescue #TeamRipley #specialneedsdog #adoptabledogs #takeachance #lovedoesamazingthings ##411128##

Story
Meet Aniken: A Shy but Sweet Soul Aniken, a handsome lab mix, is looking for the kind of love that transforms lives—both his and yours. After spending months in a shelter as a puppy with little socialization, Aniken is understandably shy, especially around new people. In fact, he’s the shyest of his four siblings. But don’t let that fool you—this boy has a heart of gold just waiting to shine with the right person by his side. Aniken has made wonderful progress learning to walk on a leash, but he would still thrive best in a home with a fenced yard where he can feel safe and secure. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs, and their company brings out his playful side. What Aniken needs most is someone with patience, love, and the understanding that building trust takes time. Once he feels safe, he’ll show you that love truly is all you need. Aniken is being fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania). www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 ##1822823##

Story
Meet Annie and Abilene! This inseparable duo shares an unbreakable bond that’s as heartwarming as it is inspiring. Growing up in the shelter without the socialization they needed, both girls are a bit on the shy side—Annie being the shyer of the two. But don’t let that fool you! Together, they bring out the best in each other, with Abilene’s playful energy encouraging Annie to open up and explore the world. Abilene, with her fabulous ears and gentle charm, is a bundle of playful energy once she feels comfortable. She absolutely loves romping with other dogs and is eager to wiggle her way into your heart as the fun-loving companion she’s meant to be. Annie, on the other hand, leans heavily on her sister for guidance. With Abilene by her side, Annie learns to trust, play, and embrace her curiosity. These two are perfectly matched, balancing each other in the sweetest way possible. Annie and Abilene must be adopted together—they’re a package deal of love, loyalty, and joy. If you’re ready to welcome double the companionship into your life, these sisters are waiting for their forever family to show them what love is all about. Abilene is being fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania). Abilene & Annie have a partially sponsored adoption fee - please inquire. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz If you are interested in ABILENE and would like to give her the loving home she deserves, please contact Mostly Muttz! You can apply to adopt ABILENE at https://www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 ##1834946##
