Story
Ollie is an approximate 3 year old male lab mix. He was saved at the last minute from being euthanized. Ollie will weigh around 60 pounds full grown. Ollie does well with other dogs but sometimes can be annoying and in the face of others. Ollie does get a bit jealous of others if they are receiving attention and he is not and will try and push his way in, but he's learned that there is plenty of attention to go around and will wait for it. Ollie generally leaves the cat siblings alone, although he has chased them from time to time. Ollie loves people and is always happy to make new friends. Ollie is a young boy who has plenty of energy. He is not currently living with kids, but is friendly towards them albeit a bit clumsy at times. With continued training and rules, he would do well with kids. He loves to give kisses. Ollie needs to have daily exercise and structure. He's a medium energy boy who loves to go! He loves playtime in the yard but thrives with structured walks and training. Ollie is working hard on basic manners and obedience. Ollie would make a fantastic hiking partner! Ollie is vet checked, vaccinated, neutered, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. His adoption donation fee is $300.00

Story
***ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS*** Duke is male 1–2-year-old Lab/Bully type mix. He does well with most dogs. Duke has been around cats but isn’t currently living with any. Duke has some anxiety meeting new people and will need a strong leader who’s willing to continue his training. He does best with men and is slow to warm up to women. He would do best in a home with older kids who can assist with training. Duke is medium to high energy and needs daily exercise a couple times a day. His mother was Dutchess, who topped the scale at 35 pounds, but his daddy was clearly somebody much larger. Duke has been vet checked, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is current on his flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Duke's adoption donation fee is $300.00.

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Lacey's ideal home would be one where she's not the only four-legged wrestler in the ring! She thrives in the company of other dogs and needs to have a canine companion who can keep up with her high-energy antics. Together, they'll engage in epic wrestling matches, chase each other around the yard, and engage in all sorts of doggy shenanigans. She is house trained and is working on her best manners! Lacey did live outdoors, so she is working on the manners part! Lacey is considered special needs because she takes daily Prozac. She is successful when she is both on meds and has another dog to burn energy and cuddle up with. She does NOT do well as the only dog, or when crated/kenneled. Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash.
