Hey Everybody! Meet Chuck! He's a pretty big fella that was turned in to us from a family that had been caring for him as a stray. He gets along fine with kids, other dogs, and cats. He's a bit of a stud and likes to mark, but once he's fixed he'll be all set for your own "Marley&Me" adventures! He'll be available for adoption just as soon as we get his shots and Neuter done. If you're interested in the big guy give us a call/text at 615-680-4022 or email us at animalshelter@trousdalecountytn.gov

Story
IDGSR Welcomes FENDER into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Howdy! My name is Fender and I'm an adorable 4mo male black Lab mix pupper! I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 4 months Home - home with a fenced in yard Kids - will do fine with kids over 5+ Dogs - will do well with other dogs Cats - will do okay with cats Training - need full range of obedience training 1. My mom is a German Shepherd mix and my dad, well, he was probably the milkbone delivery guy. We aren't sure what breed he is, he may have been an Aussie or Lab mix. Either way, I'm cute! 2. My siblings & I were living in deplorable conditions. We were crammed in a small kennel area with mud, feces, and muck. The rescue came and saved us! 3. I am learning all sorts of puppy things. I've never been able to run and play or enjoy toys - let me tell you, those are some amazing things! 4. I love exploring in the play yard, rolling around in the grass, and chasing my siblings. I hope you have a friendly pupper that I can play with! 5. Considering my background, I am a little behind socially. I need to be trained in full obedience and socialized. This will help us bond & prove how smart I am! 6. If you are looking for a loyal, resilient, playful, energetic, and fun loving new companion - I'm your guy! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
