Rocky is a 8 month mixed breed. he is very active and loves to eat basically anything, including bugs and his cloth toys so he can not have cloth toys to play with. he loves watermelon, strawberries, bananas and blue berries if they are sweet. he also loves eggs and peanut butter and likes to eat ice. He will work for food. he likes attention and at times thinks he is a lap dog...all 50 lbs. of him. He likes running, chasing balls and being outside. knows the following commands sit, lay down, move, show me, find it (when i throw treats) he is a sweet heart but can be an escape artist as well as a little stubborn at times. He needs someone who is patient and loving with space for his energy level.

What's soft, sweet and wonderfully squishy? Marshmallow! Full of joy and enthusiasm, with a healthy dash of curiosity, this handsome pup is a lovable goofball. He is house trained, walks well on leash and learns quickly (especially when there are yummy treats around). He was lucky enough to find his way into care where it was discovered that he was born with an abnormal heart valve. Thanks to the awesome folks at Auburn University Vet School (War Eagle!) he is doing great, playing fetch and chasing his foster brother all around the yard. All he needs now is a family to call his own. Please note that we are a completely volunteer run organization and may take 48 hours to respond. Please make sure to fully complete your application. Totally a coincidence but I am as fast as the cars at Bristol Motor Speedway. My favorite thing to do is play fetch and I will play for as long as you are able to throw the ball and ALWAYS bring the ball back to you. I was rescued by Critter Cavalry from an Arkansas shelter and so very thankful to be in Tennessee. I have the best foster home with two foster brothers who are twice my size and I love to wrestle with them. I have more confidence when I have other dogs to show me how to be a dog. I am a little slow to warm up to new people and do not need an extremely active home with a lot of different people coming and going. Once I get to know you after a few days I will never leave your side! I am very well behaved inside the house, I am crate trained, house-trained, quiet, and would make the perfect work from home buddy - I have been keeping my foster mom company by napping next to her desk all day. I would do great in a home with adults only or a family with older children. A canine companion would be great but I'm also willing to take all the attention for myself if I'm the only dog. BUT did I mention the ball. I do need someone that likes ball as much as I do and a fenced in yard is a MUST. I warm up to women first, but after a few days, men are ok too. I just did not have a very good beginning to my short life. If you are patient and looking for a great companion, then you have found her in me. I am spayed and current on all my shots. Hi my name is Curly and I have a great story to tell. I am a good boy that’s shy and unsure at first. People, car rides, and loud noises scare me. So I need a home that is quiet and 1-2 people at most would be best. I do great with other dogs, they bring me out of my shell. I know I’m not for everyone but I am the right one for the special person, who can work with me and go at my slow pace, who won’t get frustrated that the world is sometimes scary to me and I need time and help figuring it out. I really want to be loved and give you love, it will just take time, trust, and understanding. I am kennel trained, house trained, and like the backyard. Leash walks are not my favorite but I am working on that. Since I am scared, I like to be able to go in and out of my kennel when I am scared or just feel like it. If you want a special dog that’s not like everyone else, but will always hold a special place in your heart…. I am your boy! I have been around dogs and cats with no issues. I've also been around kids, but I prefer to keep to myself when little ones are around. I'm also crate and housetrained, neutered, heartworm negative, and have age-appropriate vaccinations!
