Story
Hello I'm Daisy! I had a rough start at life but I am looking forward to starting over. I am a shy girl but will warm up rather quickly and would do best in an adult female only home. I am learning trust and how to "dog" and I just know there is a female out there looking for a friend. I'm willing to be that friend, I just ask that you can be patient with me and help me build my confidence. I do not like those kitty creatures and kids make me too nervous. I did however have an older calm male doggie bud that I was learning from. If you are willing to put in the work, I am more than ready to work along side of you. Interested in adopting? Story
Charlie is an independent yet loving boy. He is a bit nervous until he gets to know you but seems to warm up pretty quickly. He is dog friendly and has previously lived with other dogs. He does need a home with no cats or livestock. He walks well on a leash and is ok being bathed and brushed. He has also lived with children and is said to be good with them. We would want all children to come to the meet and greet just to ensure everyone is comfortable and happy. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Interested in adopting? Story
We are looking for a family to adopt Percy. He’s a shy boy when first meeting him. It takes time for him to get acquainted with new people and become comfortable. However, he did great with my 4 and 6 yr old boys. He’s not a playful dog so if you let him he’ll stay on the couch all day. He’s really just content being next to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep him because my 4 yr old is allergic to him. He’s currently living with my sister and 2 other dogs. They have a lot of other animals as well. Percy does great on walks, good with other dogs, guinea pigs, chickens, and cats. He would make anyone a great companion!

Story
Hank is doing well with his mild case of Mega-E (megaesophagus). He gets in his Bailey Chair himself at mealtime. Hank loves to play, learning to catch a frisbee. He will be great at it, jumping very high in the air and succeeding in a catch! He likes to fetch balls and usually brings them back. He will need additional training in leash walking. Hank is housebroken, heartworm negative, neutered, and tolerates his crate. It is important to keep him in a safe area when you are not around, so he doesn't get into something he should not. He should mature to a medium sized good boy, under forty pounds. Handsome Hank is good with kids, cats, and dogs. Definitely need to keep kitty items out Hank's reach, as he finds everything tasty. This good boy is a real catch!   Hank and his 11 siblings were named after legendary country singers. This is their story: His mother, Mountain Mama, wandered up to a feral horse rescue campsite and quickly befriended the rescuers. She needed help! Soon after, she gave birth to a large litter of puppies. A few weeks later a wonderful thing happened - Mama and her 12 puppies were transferred to an SSR foster.  All of Hank's siblings have been adopted.  Hank has been diagnosed with megaesophagus or mega e. This diagnosis should not keep you from adopting this very sweet boy.  All that needs to be done is to have him sit up when he eats and for 10 minutes after. He is a champ at taking his pill at every meal, by syringe after they have been dissolved in water. An elevated water bowl works best for this pup. Hank is a very happy, playful, outgoing puppy.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  If you are an approved adopter and are interested in this dog, please let your case worker know.
